Dan, you are a little fatter. How about that? Go ahead, Dan. Oh, exciting. I don't know if I can handle this excitement. My question, Greg, is we're here post week five besides the drama. We know we're instilling a new offensive system. We know there is going to be some growing pains. Unfortunately, I'm not really aware what to look for as a novice in terms of what a West Coast offense looks like. I was wondering if maybe you could expound on if you're seeing that the West Coast offense transition is actually happening. You're seeing West Coast concepts in the offense this year. Well, West Coast has evolved over time to where that's a term more than, let's say, what Bill Walsh did years and years ago. So no offense is specifically one thing now. You know, they used that term because, I don't want to say for only one reason, but in this style of offense, everything is precisely choreographed. So I wanted to ask you, if you're seeing anything that they're doing with their condensed formations, that is just leading them to be so much less successful than the rest of the league. Now, a couple of things. If you're going to run condensed formations, which is now a big trend in the league, by the way, it's not just the Eagles. Everybody runs condensed formations. You know how defenses are now responding to that? They're blitzing more with their corners, because the corners are a lot closer to the quarterback. Now, you get the chess match between condensed formations and teams blitzing, and everything gets sped up. But if you're going to run a lot of condensed formations, think of teams that are really good at it and where they throw the ball. I guess the other thing was about Jalen Carter. Did he finally look healthy to you? Did they deploy him better? Well, in the first half, he had dominant snaps, for sure. Absolutely dominant snaps in the first half. And he looked great. Didn't do that in the second half, but again, sometimes that happens with the tackles. Hey, Greg, just a real quick one. It looked like to me the offensive line did a lot better job of handling stunts and it looked like they finally had some answers when facing some blitzes. Did you see anything different on their end? I don't know, maybe a communication, maybe with the backups, having that familiarity with each other? Well, the Jaguars are a high percentage stunt defense. So, I mean, this was a game where they had to deal with that. I would say for the most part that they did okay. Watching the tape, I didn't feel like, man, they're just not picking people up. Greg, adjusting your field study, what a point in the season. Could you give me a unit that you're surprised in how well they're playing and vice versa one that you think is playing poorly, just any team in the league? Well, I think even though they lost this week, I think the Browns defense is a really, really good unit. They play a really high percentage of man coverage. They play a ton of single high. They play a ton of man coverage, but they are really, they're a fast defense. They're actually a fun defense to watch. They didn't lose the game this week because of their defense. I want to take you to the last offensive possession for the Eagles when it was first and 10 at the 34 with 25 seconds left. And it was something Sirianni said during his press conference. And I know I don't, I mean, I know you can only take it for what it is cause it's just a press conference. He's just saying stuff, but he said first and 10, yeah, you could have run it, but what Jacksonville was doing, running wasn't going to be an option. So I want to know what Jacksonville was- So are you talking about the last possession? Yes, their final offensive possession, 34 seconds or 25 seconds, first and 10 at the 34 of the rams, of the, not rams, the Jags. And I want to know what was Jacksonville doing that running wasn't going to be an option? Because I feel like you can have answers to that. We lined up in a 1, 2, 3, 4, 7-man front. So right on the first level of the defense, there's no gaps. So, you know, it's really difficult to run against that. There's no gaps. Greg, since obviously Vic has told us now that there's the belief that those two guys were going to split reps, him and Jeremiah were going to split reps during the game on Sunday. Right there, that starts making me believe that, like, he's telling you without telling you that, hey, we're kind of losing faith in this guy. And I get it. He's only a second year player. We don't have to guess now. They're just telling us. Yeah. Exactly. Like, you know what I mean? They're not doing this if they feel like this is going to be something that could work long term. So my question to you is then, remember when he was drafted, there was this belief that, hey, he could still be an edge rusher potentially. And with the Eagles, you know, obviously fighting injuries and whatnot down there. Do you think that there's, I know it's harder in season, but can that be something they try to explore to try to see if they can work him to get reps on the edge? Yeah, I mean, look, the guy is an explosive moving athlete. He just doesn't see the game well from a stacked position. And, you know, maybe he can be an edge player or, you know, and if he would, he wouldn't be a full time player, but then maybe he can be, you know, a sort of a designated edge rusher. I don't know. I don't know if they're cross training him in that area. I don't know the answer to that. Everything in life comes down to choice, doesn't it? My last question is, I've listened to you a lot talk about Tua, and you talk about the physical limitations that he has, have limited success in the NFL. And a guy that is to me a carbon copy is Bryce Young, and Bryce Young seems like he's having a lot more success. And I would like to know, what is the difference between the two? Is there a stylistic difference? Does Bryce Young have a stronger arm? Why is he able to find success where Tua is not? I think Bryce Young sees it overall better than Tua. Tua was all rhythm. Tua had to hit his back foot, the ball had to come out. If it didn't happen, he got stuck. Young is just a way better athlete. Young is deceptively slippery. He's not explosive. Obviously, the Eagles play them next week. Boy, if they lose at home to Carolina, the shit will probably hit the fan big time. But the point is that Young is deceptively slippery, and that's a big deal. All right, guys. Good stuff. See you. All right. Thanks, guys. Really appreciate it.
