Hey, how about hobby sooner? He says, my sponsors are Cours Light and Chicks Bigs. Hey, whatever, man. Whatever gets you through the day, man. All right. Let's start here, Shane. I get so much SEC action, but it was like the the Battle of the Titans down in Tuscaloosa. We're a week's worth of weather updates. And thank goodness there was not much weather effects. You know, I think it did make the game a little sloppy. But either way, Shane, Georgia beats Alabama on the road 20 to 17. And this, I think, was the two best teams in the conference, maybe the two best teams in the country going head to head. Nothing, nothing. The result did not affect my opinion much in terms of how good these teams are. Bama, they led the first half, and then Georgia came storming out and won the second half. It was 14 to 10 at half time. Georgia won second half 10 to 3. And even though the scoring was low, Shane, it was a lot of offense in this game. And it wasn't bad defense either. It was weird. It was, so Georgia had 455 yards, Bama had 346. So, you know, statistically, you could say, well, hell, these defenses are, they must be garbage. No, it was just really these quarterbacks making big time plays, tough physical throws, running backs were getting after it. This was a hell of a game, Shane. And again, I just, shout out to Boring, man. He was, he called, for anybody that missed it, I assume you all saw it, but he called right there on the goal line, six seconds left in the first half. They didn't have any timeouts. He calls a pass play. They didn't get it, but they called up the perfect play. It was just not executed. And then he said, you know what? I don't give a damn. Three seconds, no timeouts. We're gonna, we're losing. And they scored a touchdown on a running play. So again, even like in defeat, I'm not sitting here moral victoring, but I think old DeBoring's grown up before our eyes. He was getting heated over here. He was calling people out. He was calling refs out. This is the DeBoring. He wasn't DeBoring, Shane. He was showing emotion. That's what we wanted to see from this guy for three damn years. You know what? Yeah, absolutely. That's what the fans are going through, right? And if you're a Todd fan, I've heard them about the past interference. I've heard them about that. This game, Mike was moments and opportunities, right? And one team was able to just take advantage of just enough opportunities because the moments were there when Alabama could have won this game. You know, you talk about a muff punt. You talk about several balls, several fumbles that fall on the turf, and you're not able to cover, you know? Those were those opportunities that the Tide had to kind of swing the momentum and take this game. They just couldn't do it. And honestly, Mike, I kept thinking to myself, if there was one more quarter of this game, I still don't know who would win. You know, that's just how back and forth this thing was. This was the two best teams in the conference right now, going toe-to-toe. And some are saying it, and I'm right there with them, that it may be the first of multiple games that we see between these two teams this year. Mm-hmm. And again, something I said last night on my drunken rambling, Shane. But again, when these teams meet again, there's probably not going to be a... I don't think that... I do think it was a missed call on the pass interference. I don't know how you could think otherwise. But I don't think you had to find the game. I mean, after that, Keelan Russell took a really bad sack, knocked Alabama out of a field goal range. I mean, that counts for something, too, right? But you're not going to have the bad call. You're not going to have the weather. Your quarterback's going to be a little bit older. And he's just going to keep getting better and better. I just think... And this is why I went with the more veteran team, the more veteran quarterback, because I think these teams are damn near even and just the slightest edge. And that's... In big time games like this, that's what you need. You need just a slight, slight edge. Yeah. And Georgia was great in the red zone, 4-4 for 20 points. Bama, 1-1 for 7. So... And shout out to Dwight Phillips, man. 120 rushing yards. Our buddy Jesse on Thursday, he said he will be key to the game. He absolutely nailed that one. Third and fourth string running backs, you know? That's damn impressive. Nate Frazier obviously wasn't able to suit up in this game. And you mentioned quarterbacks. One thing I will say on that note, it felt like just Gunner, the age showed, right? Keelan Russell, a little, I don't know. I want to say he was off, but he was a little sluggish at first, right? I felt like he got better as the game went on, as he got settled in. But that's part of growing up, something that Gunner's already doing. And in fact, if roles were reversed, if last year's Gunner was playing next year's Keelan, Alabama would have won this game. That's kind of what it felt like. So I felt like a little age was exposed here. I would love to just live in the head of Shane for a couple of hours. Last year Gunner, next year Keelan. I mean, where do you come up with these? But you're 100% right. And then something that was said repeatedly, every show, every preview I saw of this, Shane, they were saying, oh Gunner, you know, all he does is check down. He's leading the country. I mean, hell, we talked about it. He leads the SEC, leads the country, and checkdowns, not throwing it 10 yards down the field. Well, he had five completion, Shane, that were 15 or more air yards. So not the receiver busting it, but him actually pushing it down the field. Five of them, 15 or more yards down the field. That was the most of his career he's ever had in a single game. So clearly Bama saw the same thing and said, all right, well Gunner's going to have to beat us pushing it down the field. And he did it. So that's a credit to him. He's a hell of a player. And he's maybe not the number one reason, but he's one of the key reasons Georgia won his football game and remains undefeated. Yeah. You know, I think about those, those video games, you got that 99 clutch, you know, that's, that's Gunner. And let me ask you, Mike, and you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but if we have 16 quarterbacks, I'm not telling you to tell me which one's the best, but you need a drive. You need somebody that's not going to fold under pressure. Is there, how, where would you have Gunner in the rankings of 16 SEC quarterbacks right now? I still have Trinidad 1 in that category. We've seen it many game winning drives. So he's up there, but after him, it may be Gunner. Okay. Okay. I just, it's definitely not Arch. We'll get to them. Hey, shout out to, we had a, let's see if I missed it. Yeah, right here. Tiger, appreciate you. Yeah. It got me the filets from Omaha on the grill, ready for Missouri, Kentucky. So me and Cousin Shane can get. That's right. I'll be there. I'll be there. The camping world. I have the video out tomorrow, so be sure to check that out. The SEC road trip and we'll be in Georgia, be in Athens this coming up weekend. So look forward to hang out with Gunnards if he'll have me. If he'll have me. Hey, I don't quite know this one. How does Tennessee move up after escaping the bacon? I think he means the pole, maybe. Yeah, I don't know, man. It may be we may ask me about those pole smokers. You know, I'll get buttered sausage at 604 Texas Steel. So come on. There they are. Come on, seniors. Come on in. Yeah, let's get to that. I mean, this, I think, was the best game of the weekend, Shane, as mighty Dix is number one. How? You have him number three in the parent race. You're number one in the country. Well, they're not the number one team in the Red River anymore, Shane, because Oklahoma beat them 27 to 24. And I'll tell you, if you like defense, this was the game for you. I mean, this drive chart, this is the winning drive chart here, Shane. I mean, it was three in out, three in out, three in out, three in out. Missed field goals. I mean, this is, I don't want to say ugly football, because I do think it was just two really good defenses. And it's underwhelming offenses. Offensive lines are not great for either one of these teams. But it was ugly, ugly. And I know I was just kidding. I'm making fun of Arch. But he did have a hell of a 41-yard touchdown to Cam Coleman. That kind of started the fireworks in Red River. And I was like, Oh buddy, Oh buddy, that'd be that legitimately, legitimately may end at seven. Nothing. I don't know if Sooners can get to seven points. Well, they found a way, Shane. They found a way by blocking a punt scoring. And that was in the second quarter, Shane. Do you have any idea how many offensive yards Oklahoma had when they block at pump for a touchdown? No, 15 yards in the game. And again, this was second quarter. So this was not like after one drive or something. So the block punt really, really gave a life to Oklahoma. And then again, shout out Arch. He bounced he bounced back. He hit Ryan Wingo for a 36 yard touchdown. Shout out Lloyd Avant, Shane. We have been dying, dying to just see somebody on Oklahoma step up, help John Matier. You know, who's it going to be? It was Lloyd Avant here on Saturday. He only had 72 rushing yards, felt like 372 because again, it was like, well, they have a running back. He scored a touchdown. And then Arch picked six, first pick six of his career, Shane, to Peyton Bowen, shout out Bowen. That was huge, huge, huge. All weekend, Shane, or all week, we said only shot Oklahoma's got to win this damn game. They need special teams. They need defense. You know, they cannot beat Texas with offense. They cannot. And it played out that way. They still found a way. So Texas, I mean, gave them a couple, but that's a credit to Oklahoma for taking it. And then Arch bounced right back, hit Cam Coleman on a bomb, hit Jermaine Bishop for a touchdown. And then Texas got the ball back, missed a field goal that could have won the game. And then Oklahoma got the ball back and couldn't do shit with it, like damn near the whole game. And then Arch throws another interception because shout out Brent Vettel for scheming up a perfect blitz. Arch got panicked and threw it up. And then John Mattier and Isaiah Sotani made the key plays to line up Tate Sandale for a 47-yard game winner. And that was all she wrote. I tell you, man, this, if I told you one of these quarterbacks was going to blow it in the fourth quarter with two turnovers, nobody would have picked Arch Manning in that scenario. They would have thought, Hey, this is John Mattier. This is classic Mattier and it didn't happen. I thought those satan you throws, even though let's, let's be honest, Mike, probably one of the worst offensive performance I've ever seen in my life. But those satan you throws were unbelievable on the sideline. I mean, it was just perfect, perfect, perfect football. And you just kind of failed it. You felt that, that momentum behind Oklahoma like, damn, they may end up winning this thing after all. So it was a great, great game there at the end, but you're right, man, special teams touchdown. I mean, interception for a touchdown. If you're, if you're Texas defense, fighting for your life out there with one of the best units in the country and 14 points are just giving away, I'd be so damn pissed. I wouldn't even go to that locker room. I just, I'd skip it. I'd say, I'll let offense have it. I'm going home. You know, it's, that's kind of what I felt like. And I know Texas fans are pissed. They're like, dude, we finally got an elite defense and this is the shit we see on offense. But it's just nice to have the Sooners back, isn't it? Well, I would disagree with the one final thing you said. Yeah. Yes. Texas has been good on defense for a while. Even last year. Well, that's true. It's the offense year after year after year that is regressing. And a shout out to Derek, Cousin Derek here. Oh wait. Arch through the first touchdown pass for Oklahoma in years. That is true. But this is the one I was trying to highlight. Back in the South, neutral observer here. Texas gave that game away credit to OU for playing hard. I think that's accurate. But I think if I'm an Oklahoma fan, who gives a shit? We won the game. So it doesn't matter how you did it, but I would agree that Texas killed themselves. So I mean, I think both things can be true. And all that matters is you win the game or in Oklahoma won it. So I'm not taking away from them. But I thought, did you think the game was over? When it was 17-7, Texas has the ball in the third quarter and they hit, I can't remember if it was Wingo on the sideline there. I just, I knew, I knew it was over. It was done, put a nail in them. And then somehow they, they just scratched and clawed their way back into this thing. That's the Red River, man. That's the damn Red River. I mean, it's a shame I also thought it was over at seven nothings, you know, I was like, Oh, can't get seven, you know, how many years has it been? You know? Yeah. They finally got a rushing touchdown. So it's been one day since they scored a touchdown in the Red River on offense. So again, it was three point game. Yeah. Oklahoma had zero turnovers. That was critical. Yeah. So again, credit to them. They may, they may not have engineered a ton. I mean, Matier made some plays. Louis Devant, we highlighted him. Santana made some plays. They made plays, but they didn't screw it up. Yeah. That was the difference. Texas had two turnovers, which resulted in nine points for Oklahoma, and that does not count the block punt. So let's count that. That's 16 points, Shane. 16 points in a three point ball game. That's how you lose. That was the only path, I thought, to Oklahoma winning this game, and that's exactly what happened. Shane, I don't know if you saw this. I thought this was pretty wild. Texas had won. So they were leading, entering the fourth quarter. Yeah. They had won 38 games in a row when they were leading, entering the fourth quarter. So that was snapped on Saturday. This is one of the greatest series in football history, right? Yeah. Oklahoma has never beaten Texas in Red River when Texas was ranked number one. Snap that too, you know what, so. Oh, I mean, it was pretty wild, and hey. This is what I've been talking about. Again, nothing I say could be taken serious. I'm just a troll, I just hate Texas. Now we got Texas media saying it, though, Shane. Shout out to this guy, CJ Vogel. I think he's on Texas. Yeah. We're over there with Bobby, and here's what he said. I mean, this is his words, not mine. This is the fourth year in a row, scoring less points. In the previous season. They have currently, the Texas They have... the highest three-and-out rate of any team in a Southeastern conference. They're averaging 1.6 points per possession in two SEC games. That's 103rd in the country. They're averaging less than three yards of rush on 109 attempts for power opponents. So again, just piss poor. And what's the excuse, Shane? I mean, I'm sure not everybody's healthy. There's no team that's healthy. I ain't blaming it on health. They got Arch, they spent all this money on Camp Coleman. They got, I was told their left tackle is the best left tackle. They spent all this money on the offensive line. So Arkesian, I was told is God's gift to football. And I've been saying for years, they're getting worse every year on offense. And their solution was to fire a defensive coordinator, bring in Will Muschamp. And he's been fine. He's not the problem. But the running joke is now is he's going to fire Muschamp because that's what he did last year because offense sucks. But I mean, people are starting to wake up to the fact that Texas is... Are you panicking? Because when I think of Texas, I mean, those stats are, I mean, those are eye-opening, but I also look at who were they against? Oklahoma and Tennessee, arguably the two worst offenses in the conference right now. So we're putting Texas on a pedestal as far as their defense, but is that what it's going to look like against Ole Miss? Is that what it's going to look like against Mizzou? You know, some of these teams, Mississippi State even. I got you. So SpinZone, maybe their defense is shitty. No, I'm not saying the defense is shit. I do think the defense is better than it was last year, even though it was elite last season, but I do, there's a part of you that has to think, right? I mean, we saw the Ohio State. I feel like we've put so much stock into that week two game that we're just, okay, anybody they play, but there is a part of you that wonders what happens when you play somebody that maybe has some juice on the offensive side of the football. I don't know. I don't know. I'm true. To answer your question, I'm truly not panicked because again, all that's negative. And I just highlighted it. But again, this is the same shit I've been saying year after year after year. And they just don't believe it or they just think I'm a hater. They're just looking out their own media saying it. But I don't think, again, they gave up a block punt, multiple turnovers. So essentially, they gave up 16 points in a three point game and they lost. If they do that in the rest of any of these games that are competitive, like LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Missouri, they'll lose that too. But I just don't think that's gonna happen. It may happen like one more time, but I just don't think it's... The win over Ohio State was so big, Shane. I think they could legitimately go nine and three and make the playoff, and I think they're gonna do better than nine and three. Does that make sense? Yes. So I'm not panicked, but I am concerned that, again, is the goal to make the playoff with all this talent and what we spent, or is the goal to win the national championship? I am highly suspect that we can do that. And should it be championship or bust? That's probably not fair. But if they let's say they go like one and done in the playoff. Yeah. Or if they same thing I said in the preseason, and I just said it, I don't think they're going to miss the playoff. If they miss the playoff, I think you got a fire sark. I mean, that would be ridiculous, wouldn't it? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I don't know about firing, right? I mean, he's right there at 100 wins. But I think he'll make it. I think they'll make it, right? I do too. This is what we do, all right? Texas hasn't been here. We overreact. I overreact when they beat Ohio State, same as the best team in the world. I'm going to overreact this week saying, oh my gosh, we may have a problem, right? So I think there can be a lot learned in a loss. Maybe some of these teams, you know, we talked to Alabama already, but maybe some of these teams needed to hit bottom. You know, they needed to get a nail in that column, just to kind of wake up and realize their shit does stink. You know what I'm saying? Like they have got to put the work in, or they're going to lose more football games. So yeah, all season long, people like me have been telling them how great they are, not Alabama, but you know, definitely Texas. And I feel like this is exactly what they needed, but how do you grow? How do you develop? How do you work off this? That's the big part here, man. And does this save the season for Oklahoma? I think so. I mean, it's set up pretty nice. I mean, Kentucky is now a legit powerhouse. We'll get to them here in a second, but you know, there are some games that if you're able to pull off, now this meat of the schedule, because that's what we talked about for the longest time is, okay, here's the three easy ones, right? Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina. Now we're like, holy shit, you know, this is the meat of your schedule. This is top 25 teams probably. And you know, I don't think you could take your foot off the gas. I wouldn't have a parade just because you beat Texas in the Red River. I, you can't afford it. There's no way your venables cannot afford to look in the Riverview mirror here. He's got to focus on October 17th now. I'm not being negative, right? Yes, if they lose the Kentucky, yeah, it erases it. Do you? Well, it doesn't know. No, because that's such a big win over Texas, but at home, it's going to be, it's going to be a terrible year. Yeah. Like that's how much pressure I'm putting on them to win this game. Maybe it just, for me, it's kind of like a fork in the road, right? If you lose, then you're losing a lot more football games. But if you win, then I can be convinced. Maybe they're not all the way back, but they're definitely a threat in the SEC again. I missed it. So I may have this quote a little wrong, but I did, I think it was sooner scoop guys. So, you know, I could trust them, but they, I think they said, then we'll soon, can't go 10 and two till you win the first one. You know what I mean? So that's just the narrative. And if you beat Kentucky, then you're like, well, hell, that's the hottest team in the country. Outside of Georgia and that's how you start that ball rolling. But if you lose it, then you're like Shane senior year, we can't, oh, and five, they won the state. That's right. That's right. So everybody checked on Eddie. I think he's been up for three days. So a lot of stats coming out of SoonerScoop right now. Hey, shout out Brandon Rodarte. We appreciate you, buddy. Extremely disappointed in our offense. With that being said, do you still think Texas is making the playoff? Hell yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think 10 and two, I think they're going to lose another game. I don't know who, but with again, arts has got it in them, right? Dude, they went arch through that pass. Was it Coleman in the back there? Like he was, he was going left and he throws it right back of the end. So I mean, that is, there is not a lot of quarterbacks in the country that can make that throw. That was beautiful. But, and there was a drive when he got back in, you know, they got down seven points. That drive, that was picture perfect manning. But, but then there's some, some head scratchers and you're saying, what the hell, man? What are you doing? I just, sometimes I feel like he's got to win it for himself when he's got a lot of athletes around him. Right. The danger zone will be Ole Miss, Mississippi State, both at home. Yeah. At Mizzou, at LSU. You're not going to win all of those games. I promise you, if you're scoring under 30. Right. Right. And hell, you could get beaten all of them. I'm not sitting here saying you will, but there's not going to be many defensive shootouts. It's going to be offensive games. Yeah. You got to get that fixed. Cousin Lou, pretty sure it's you. Cousin Lou, question. Mike, do you, we have our DC and our offensive coordinator who's Sark is bad. Do you believe we can hire an offensive quarter if things go bad? Uh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, they have to. They have to. Unless they make a big playoff run and then this is all for not. Yeah. That's the next step. He's got to realize, I mean, again, if his was one year, Shane would be like, ah, we screwed up on offense. I mean, this is literally year after year after year. This is four years in a row. Yeah. The statistically, they have regressed and they have all the, and remember, what do you say at media days? Well, we upgraded. Yeah. We got rid of the guys that, you know, and we've upgraded. So you can't have a same ass excuses. This is on him. And you've seen great coaches do this. When they finally come to realization, they can't do it. They can't do it all. A great coach in the SEC needs to be a CEO. He needs to take care of everything so he can look at it, you know, that, in that angle. So even smaller level, look at Mizzou. We're talking about how leaked their offense is. There was a moment when Drink was the guy and he realized, I can't do this. I need someone else to come in here and do this. And then the offense becomes a lead again. All right. I think we're going to spend 45 minutes on that if we don't move on. So let's move on to what the hottest team, this side of the Mississippi, Shane, except Kentucky Wildcats beat LSU, 35, 34. What a damn game this was, Shane. CJ. Baxter, shout out him. He had a huge game, a 77 yard run set up Kentucky's first touchdown. LSU responded. They had some nice trick plays in this one. Little trick play touchdown got them on the board. Kentucky punt return touchdown by Kaufman. That included just a hellacious stiff arm. I mean, that was incredible. Kentucky, I thought that where they really, I wouldn't say won the game, but just kind of, this is just such a different Kentucky, Shane, but right there, right before halftime, anybody that missed it, it was fourth and inches, goal line. I think there was like two seconds, one second left in the half. They go tush push and they tush push their ass in the end zone. When you do stuff like that, that's how you win these games. Those are the difference to winning and losing, particularly as an underdog. You gotta make those plays. LSU opened the second half with an interception. Man, Sam Levitt, he's got to rein in these damn turnovers. And then LSU had another trick play touchdown, which was pretty sweet. Jackson Harris receiver, maybe the nicest receiver pass I've ever seen. A 41 yard touchdown. Kentucky missed a bunch of field goals. Shane was freaking out on Twitter. He was doom and gloom and he was right in the obituary for these Wildcats. Not me, Shane, not me. I still believed in you, Will Stein. Levitt had another turnover, which was an insane failed jump pass. And the Kentucky Kickers redeemed himself with a 33 yarder to force overtime. LSU scored right out the gate and then Kentucky scored. Shout out Darby. My God, the effort he gave in overtime. And then Big Ball's dad, Shane, called for another two pointer and Minchi spread out the defense and just it was a damn parting of the Red Sea and walked his ass into the end zone for the win. The only thing I didn't like was the fans with the following Kiffin and again, he deserves it, but that was, that was the only bad thing I saw from Kentucky this weekend. Yeah, but I saw a lot of good, right? There was a, I think, I can't remember, Matt, he posted something about their recreation of the, or recreation of the photo between dad and daughter from the last win. Oh, I thought you met this one here. Oh no, no, that's straight from the UK side. I love this man. No more quotes, right? So man, it was a, this was a great, great win for Kentucky. And I get last week was, was also phenomenal. South Carolina, they were on cloud nine, you know, but that's one that you wanted to get. This is one that you, I mean, you'd wish to get right. Everybody wished to be LSU, Lane Kiff and they weren't supposed to win this game. Top 10 match up. You know what I'm saying? This is double digit underdog. Absolutely, man. That's, that's what was supposed to happen. But this is a new Kentucky. We got a wrapper head around this, Mike. And I thought what you said on the, you said a lot of shit last night, but what you talked about was getting on the phone and get with those boosters and say, Hey man, we're not going to always be able to beat teams like that. If we don't invest in the NIL right now. And this is the perfect opportunity. This is, this is like a, you got a spot, man, that you can just build the momentum and it's a launch pad to greater things in Lexington. What a, what a wonderful time to be a Tiger or a Wildcat. Jesus. One thing I should really say, Shane, in case people are not watching these games and, you know, there's lots of game zones, so can't assume everybody's seeing everything. Yeah, there's nothing flukey about these Kentucky wins. Like you might be like, well, what are they massive turnovers? Because there were turnovers in this ball game, but it's, you know, they spent a lot on the offensive line. That offensive line is coming through. They gabled on a lot of players that had injury histories like CJ. Baxter and Nick Anderson and a couple other, and those guys are hitting. They're getting the most out of this talent. They're making the right calls at the right time. It just seems like every time they're in 3rd down and, you know, they need 6, they get 7. You know, it's not always flashy, but it's effective. They're scheming it up. They're playing their ass off on defense. They're getting after the opposing quarterbacks. And, you know, I think legitimately, I don't, again, I feel like we're jinxing all these damn teams. We're like, you know what? This team's playoff band. I'm not guaranteeing Kentucky's going to playoff, but yeah. I mean, I would at this point, I would not be surprised if they win 10 games. Yeah. Oh, not predicting it, but I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised. No, I mean, how could you? That's crazy. It's not crazy. It is what it is. It's like this year's Vanderbilt. You know what I'm saying? Nobody, nobody had it going this way. But here we are in the moment and some big wins. I think South Carolina now, which we'll get to is the top 25 team, right? You have the top 25 win on the road. You got top 10 LSU. This, you weren't winning these. I mean, even in Stoops best years, you didn't win these games. I think you took advantage of being in the Southeast. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, this is, this is a totally different football team, but it just shows you how quick and you watch some of these other programs that just struggle year after year. And they're watching first year Stein come up here and do something as magical as he's doing in Lexington. Unbelievable, man. Unbelievable story. Now, how about LSU? How big of a disappointment? Again, it's not like they, I don't think they screwed up and I don't think they're done. Not saying, I'm not burying them, but to sit here and be foreign to, when we had the likes of Marler and his crew up there telling us this is, I mean, they're saying, if they make the playoff and lose, it's a disappointment. I mean, yeah. I mean, this could be the one they're going to look back and be like, this could, hell, totally different, right? But in 24, Ole Miss should have made the playoff. They didn't because they lost to Kentucky. That was a bad Kentucky. I think a four-win Kentucky. So this is not apples to apples, but I think this is the game looking back. Unless they run the table, LSU is going to be like, shit, this is the one that cast us the playoff. You know what? Yeah. I mean, because I mean, they're not out. They're not out, right? They're definitely not out. But I guess I'm more concerned that every single road game is what you're losing. You know, like they're great at home. They're elite at home. But you put them on the road. That's when they start making some of the mistakes. And you can't sit here and I know that you were critical on injuries earlier, but there's a little thing different, I feel like, with LSU, with some of the injuries they sustained, you know, I felt like pivotal pieces of their offense, especially, and defense. So again, I'm not giving them the an easy out here. They should have won this game. If you're an LSU homer, there's no reason you shouldn't have gone up to Lexington and won this thing. It's just the better coach won here. Yeah. And again, you spent literally $100 million to turn this around. Yeah. There's no excuse for results like this. You know what? And I mean, Kiffin got conservative. Yeah. When's the last time we said that? He got outaggressed by Big Ball Stein, which, I mean, at this point, there's no shame in being emasculated by Will Big Ball Stein there. But when you play outside of your own, I mean, nothing Stein did made Kiffin get conservative. You gotta go down swinging. If that's your DNA, if that's who you are, that's how they busted open the A&M game. They went for it on fourth down. You gotta push the pedal to the metal. You can't be, you can't, you can't win football games like that. I don't think if you're Lane Kiffin. Second year Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin would not have done that fake, whatever it was on fourth down, moving everybody around, trying to draw them off sides. Right. Like even just would have went, or he would have done that and had a play called in there so that he would at least attempt to get the first down because you had a chance. So, uh, you just, yeah, you just big ball style and got you buddy. I feel like he's going to get a couple more before the season's down. You know what? Hell yeah. You know who he's not going to get though? Who's that? Yeah. Presenting sponsor of the show. Don't forget. Don't be a lame ass kid. You know, you want to know big ball style and secret chain. What's that? It's a steak. So red, old ball steak is living life on the hard. All time high right now. Shout out Stein, Provo Code SEC. Don't forget 50% off select items with the early Black Friday sales going on over at Omaha Steaks. There's a link in the show notes. Go take advantage of it. And then, you know what, Shane? Maybe you're, maybe you've been out on your team. They suffered a defeat. You're like, it's going to be another disappointing season, right? But maybe they've turned it around. Or maybe they haven't. You're like, well, I want to get some cheap ass tickets to go see my team. Well, you can do it over at SeatGeek. And while you're doing it, just save yourself an additional 10% by downloading SeatGeek app or checking out seatgeek.com and just using promo code SEC10 at the checkout. Shane came up to Nashville over the weekend. He said, you know what, there's a sick concert, Weezer. And it was, damn, I can't remember who else was with Weezer. But I was like, Shane, if you weren't in town, I would have used my SeatGeek 10, SEC10 to get 10% off. I would have left his ass at the barbecue joint and went and saw Weezer. But you were in town, so I didn't pull that off. But again, if you were going to do something similar, go to these games, NFL, basketball, college, football, college, basketball. They got it all over at SeatGeek. Just don't forget that promo code SEC10. Yeah, my daughter's like, we got to check this concert out. And I was like, I would, but I just can't remember the promo code. Or I'd book it right now. I guess we're going to miss this one. All right, well, you know what we're not going to miss Shane? What's that? We're not going to miss the Missouri Tigers race it up the college football pole shirt. Cause they whooped A&M's ass 27 to six. Oh, this was a God. I mean, I don't know if I can stand watching A&M play offensive football. It's just awful. I mean, literally the first play of the game, they script these things, they practice them, they train all week. Marceau Reed literally threw it into the dirt. I mean, I was like, what in the hell? Their drive chart, Shane, punt, interception, field goal, which is a five yard drive, punt, punt, interception, punt, punt, punt, field goal, downs, downs. They had nearly as many three and outs as they had points in this damn game. And then Missouri, Shane, Austin Simmons, didn't even have his best performance, but he was solid. He did throw his first interception of the season, but it didn't even matter, Shane. Didn't even matter because they got this guy named Jamal Roberts who had 34 carries, Shane. 222 rushing yards, two touchdowns. He is the first back, other than Derek Henry, a little guy you may have heard, maybe the best, most physical specimen ever in the Southeastern Conference at Running Back, and Leonard Fournette, probably Option A under that category. Those are the only two guys, Shane, that have just done what Jamal Roberts has done, 200 plus yards in back-to-back SEC games in the last 20 years. Missouri just took A&M behind the woodshed, spanked that ass, and got the goddamn A&M demons out from under them. And again, this was, I don't even know if this was their best performance. It certainly was fantastic on defense, but this was like a B performance. And you just absolutely mollywopped a team that's got a bigger roster budget than you and, and allegedly better, more talented than you and, and allegedly a better coach in you. It sure as hell didn't look like it on Saturday, did it? No, it didn't. It absolutely did. And it's funny that you bitched the offense. You ever call somewhere and it's like, you're going to be on hold for 20 minutes. Do you want us to call you back when it's your turn? And you're like, oh man, that's the greatest feature ever. I wish they, I bet Aggie fans were like, is there a feature like that where I'm notified when our defense is back on the field? Because I don't want to watch this trash for our offense. It's absolutely embarrassing. There's no life. There's no, there's, there's nothing. I don't know what you are. We're, we're the identity. The identity just sucks. That's, that's where the offense is. And, and we'll keep beating our head against the wall, just praying to God. Marcel Reed bells us out. It's not happening. All right. But shout out to Mizzou coming out here and just, it wasn't pretty, you know, it really wasn't. It was just the defense at times. I felt like it was a little bit of a bend, but they just didn't break. When it got in the red zone, things got tightened up. Mizzou just didn't let you in the end zone. And was it Austin Simmons' greatest game? Absolutely not. And Jamal Roberts, man, he's just a battering hand. It just, it blows my mind that he is quote unquote a backup when he is no longer a backup, Mike. He may be the best running back in the country right now. This is a guy I want in my huddle. This is a guy I want on my football team. And Mizzou's just a fun football team to watch right now. Did you see that, I mean, technically not a meme, I guess, but it was just a stat that was shown on the screen for a while and it said, Marcel Reed, one pass attempt in Missouri territory intercepted. I mean, that kind of sums up the state of the Texas A&M offense. And then on the rare occasion, we're like, Marcel makes a good pass, the receivers are dropping it or batting it into the damn air and someone's intercepting it. I mean, it's a damn calamity of issues on the offensive side of the football and their defense. I mean, I guess you can only ask to hold up for so long. But I think it's more of a credit to Missouri for keep chopping that wood, chop, chop, chop, and that rushing attack. And I do think Drink got a little conservative because he probably knew, they ain't going to beat us on all. But what Sark should have done, you know, has been like, they can't beat us if we don't turn the ball over. And that's all it took. And man, this was an easy win, or I wouldn't say easy, but a comfortable win for Missouri. And they march to 5-1 to set up a huge showdown here next week in Oxford with Ole Miss. And this is another team, Shane, that is right knocking on the door of making a college football playoff. And if they play like they did on Saturday, I think they got an outstanding shot to get there. They really do. And they've got good wins under their belt, man. That's, you know, some of these other teams that may have a better record or, you know, I just, I feel like we look at them and then we say, well, who have they played? Man, Mizzou's just, they're going out here and just, they're breaking your wheel. You know what I'm saying? Look what the Florida Gators are right now. This Texas, hey, this, somebody's getting fired after this game. I don't know who it is, but something's going to happen. It better happen, right? That's just, that's just what they're doing right now. And it's, it's, it's unreal. I did not have this on my bingo card and they definitely don't want me to like get on that wagon. They want me to keep going against them. So I'm going to keep doing it for them. But Mizzou is just playing some great football and they're, one of the things that I like about it, it's just, it's an overall deal. We talk about some of the best teams that's ever played SEC football. You need the offense to bail you out. But if the offense isn't there, you need the defense or you need the special teams. And that's what I'm seeing with Mizzou. They may not get it from Austin Simmons every single week, but that's okay. We don't need them. We may get it from Roberts. We may get it from this defensive front. We may. That's, that's what's making this team so special. It's a full team deal, right? I think what you're trying to say there is just different ways to win. Yeah. That's what, that's what it takes. And shout out Caleb. He's right there with you. Shane is a balanced offense, D's elite, Austin Simmons' revenge game. We got screwed with the best SEC game being on SEC network at night. So yeah, I mean, they kind of did. I don't know how the hell that happened. Hey, how about this question from Alex? If Ahmad Hardy comes back, which seems like a big if at this point, does Missouri have the best offense in the SEC? I mean, I think it's kind of, if he was like to come back and magically be who he was last year, I mean, I think you'd almost have to say he is, right? Yeah. But that's a huge, if he even comes back as a what if, if he's what he was last year, that's another big what if. I mean, what would you compare them to? I think George is complete when they got their running backs back as well. They don't have a Kaden Lee, but, you know. What's just so funny, I've chuckled, you know, all this for months, Shane, they're like, when's Ahmad coming back? They're checking the stables. Is he on a horse? Is he riding in? Let's say he comes back tomorrow, which he ain't coming back tomorrow. If he comes in tomorrow, they're probably saying, hey, congratulations, we'd love to have you back. Yeah. You're the backup. I mean, you can't sit Jamal Roberts, can you? No, no. But you can't, I mean, you don't want to give them 34 carries either. It'd be nice if you could even that out a little bit so that you could keep them all year long. But yeah, right now, the way they're playing, it's, they're the most efficient offense. How about that? The most efficient offense in the country. They're getting it done is what they're doing, Shane. Getting it done. Yeah. Shout out Bulldog Eat Dog here. Lane better leave him dirty butts. There you go. I mean, let's put that on a T-shirt. You know what I'm thinking about putting on a T-shirt? What's that? Elko calling AM of cesspool. Yeah. Again, there's a difference to me between the fan base and social media. And so there's a one group that I really don't care much about. Billy cesspool can go be Billy cesspool. Our fan base, stay with us, be behind us. We're going to build something that's... We told you we were going to build. We're in a really bad spot right now, but we'll work our way out of it. Shane, is this going to be something that... He could come back from this, right? But this could be a moment where he's like, it was going well. Remember when he did this? You know, I mean, this could be the beginning of the end. Yeah, I mean, I think it's that big of a deal. It's like when you notice that little string, like, oh shit, this could come unraveled. You know what I'm saying? More to think about it, or that little crack under a bridge or something like that. Maybe we shouldn't cross this thing, you know? Yeah, maybe that's it. But then again, I mean, look at all the dumb shit I say. And I talk, we talk on a podcast every day, right? And every day I still say dumb shit that I can't rein back. It's not like he could say, damn, I shouldn't have said that, you know, because I've heard some coaches say some pretty dumb things. I wonder what this was to. It almost feels like it's the media, right? But I don't think it was to the fans, do you? Did you felt like? One thousand percent. Now, I think he's saying toxic fans, which I've seen some defense of that. Like, he wasn't talking about the good fans. He's talking about the bad. But you're making, I don't know when he's making eight, nine million dollars. Yeah. Like, I don't want to hear about the bad fans. It's not the fans' fault that the offense is dogshit. It's not the fans' fault that the defense is caving in crucial situations. It's not the fans' fault that this was your offensive coordinator hire. It's not the fans' fault that you probably whiffed on a defense coordinator too. I mean, I just, I'm not, this ain't going to cut it, you know? And to be fair, I didn't go to Harvard, so, you know. Hey, shout out to, sorry, Mizzou fan. There's so many of these. I'm overlooking. I'm trying to get them all, but Mizzou fan, Shane, Bears OB, brother, can't wait for you to be at the game. We will be tailgating to let me know also how legit is Mizzou? Is this game is going to make or break us if Trinamad, Superman? What do you think, Shane? Ole Miss, Missouri, is that going to make or break Mizzou? Well, they got to mulligan. I feel like you need to beat Ole Miss, though, because Georgia scares me because every time I've gotten excited about Mizzou on the road and Athens, it never ends well. So I feel like that's the one that, okay, if we're going to lose one, it's probably going to be that one. So that means you got to get Ole Miss. That means you got to get Texas. But Mike, can I ask you a question? There's going to be some nine and threes that are going to be floating around here, and the back half of that schedule sets up pretty nice, if they do lose to an Ole Miss and let's say a Georgia, but they beat a Texas and they beat an Oklahoma and now a really good Kentucky team. Can you see a scenario where a nine and three Mizzou gets in? I mean, they are 14 in the country right now. Yeah, I mean, that's a lot of unknowns, you know? What if Texas implodes? What if Sark can't handle the heat? And they are eight and four. Is that a good win? I mean, not really. I mean, there's just so many variables, you know? I think if Kansas is your big non-conference, I don't think you can get in at nine and three. I really don't. I don't know. I don't know. Like you said, it could be other things, other scenarios that may pop up. Just win, baby. Mizzou, second question. Ole Miss has already seen the stretch this year. Will they be more prepared this time? Oh, that's interesting. Will Ole Miss be prepared, you think, this Missouri offense, Shane? Oh, I don't know if you can, because this is a different, it's a different football team. The way they run and God forbid, Austin Simmons catches fire, you know, and this thing becomes a shootout. So yeah, what you want, if you're an Ole Miss, if you're coming from that angle, is you need Austin to have a bad game and you got to try to make him one-dimensional where he has to win the game. But that's easier said than done right now, man. I don't know. This is going to be a really, really good football game. Hey, shout out, God, shout out. I love how Georgia fans, Shane, they're saying Bama had the edge, but Bama beat them between the hedges last year, then got whooped in the SEC championship history, repeat itself. I mean, that's what I was saying last night. I mean, I believe the team that has won the first round has lost the second round, the last several. Yeah. So maybe Old Debois playing a little 4D chess. So are they, Shane, what do you think? I think he's trying to avoid the SEC championship. That's what he's trying to do. I get his game. Hey, yeah, that's a good point, too. Just you don't want that extra physical toll on you. He took a little Lane Kiffin nugget there and ran with it. Oh, no, buddy. Oh, no. Shout out to Liquid here. We'll get to this one here. Everything's dead in this world. The food is bland. The sun isn't warm. Joy is gone. And Go Gators is just a collection of letters with no meaning. So let's get to that shit show. Shay, who the hell saw this coming? South Carolina, Fire Beamer. I was like, whoa, whoa, up the brakes on that. And this is why, Shay, because they went into the swamp and whooped Florida's ass for 38-19. That final score is a little deceiving there because Florida scored at the end. But, man, I did not see this one coming. Carolina, Shay, they started the game back to back, three and outs. I was like, oh, buddy, here we go. They've quit on his ass. Aaron Filo hit Bailey Stockton, 59-yard touchdown on Gator's second position. I was like, here's that Carolina defense we know and love. Then Carolina, buddy. Then they flipped a switch. I don't know where this has been, Shane, but after the slow start, they went touchdown, field goal, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, punt, touchdown, absolutely engulfed Florida. They had no answers. How about Seller, Shane? I've been trying to tell people, Shane. I'm not saying he's like the world's best quarterback anymore. I'm not on that train anymore, but he's not as bad as they were making him out to be. Now, he started pretty bad. Four of 12, he had 17 passing yards, and then he finished, Shane, his final 23 passes. He completed 19 of them for 262 yards, four Tuddies. He was just firing that pigskin on them Florida Gators, and now we've got some life. We got something to believe in, and we've got some damn winnable games if we play like this the rest of the way. Man, credit Carolina for showing signs of life here. Man, they got the lead, and I was like, I've seen this movie before, you know? The main thing is they finally closed one out here, and one thing that really stood out to me in this game was just the efficiency on third down, right? It wasn't third and one, third and two. I mean, there were some third and longs, and South Carolina just found a way to get a first down. And I know that's frustrating for the Gators because their defense has been ass here lately, right? And it'd be great to get them off the football field and help out your offense, but they just weren't able to do that. And yeah, South Carolina made the place. I was listening to Marler talking about, and you know what was nice was the guys that we've been talking about all off season finally put a game together. And that's exactly what happened here with South Carolina. We had less drops. We had Lenore Sellers doing this thing. You know, we had defense finally stepping up and making big plays when they needed to. So that's what this was about. And this is why we sit here and we were so hard on Shane Beamer because this is what we were expecting. This is a game. This is, this shouldn't have been a surprise for South Carolina. This is what should have been happening all along. And yet finally we're here. It just took too many losses to get to this point. How about this stat, Shane? Bama, more top 25 road wins than Lane Kiffin for their career. Oh, interesting. Big game, Bama. And I think it's safe to say, Shane, I think the book is out on Old Florida. Yeah. Jaden Ball, 59 rushing yards on 15 carries. You stop Ball, you stop the Florida Gators. Now, I realize they're banged up at receiver, so that's a part of it, but I don't think Aaron Filo can beat you with his arm. I think he's kind of proven that with things that are gonna ramp up significantly for the Gators here, Shane, in terms of strictly the defenses they're gonna play, but Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma. I mean, right there is maybe throwing Missouri too, but either the top three defenses in the SEC or three of the top four, however you want to slice it, you know, they have got their hands full. And if they can't run the football, Shane, they're not gonna beat any of the next four. Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kentucky. Do you think that's fair? That's fair. That's fair. And that's, buddy, that's what it feels like. It feels like the tape's out on how to beat the Florida Gators. And this offensive line is, I mean, it's bad, right? Let's just call it like it is. It's one of the worst units in the SEC and they don't have the push. They don't have the ability to kind of move that line of scrimmage, it feels like. And you got to have that in the SEC. Or like you said, you're going to rely on follow, which is great if PB's out there and all your receivers are healthy, which has always been a knock with these Florida receivers. I told you how elite they are. And they are when they're all out there, geez. And I don't think they've been out there all together this entire season. And if they are, they are phenomenal. But you know, the big story line, if you dig deep enough, Mike, is just turnovers too, right? They had three in this game. They had four last week and they've got no takeaways. So that's negative seven in the last two games. And that's going to end up with a lot of losses. And I'm trying not to overreact here, Shane. I've already overreacted with the Gators just the wrong way, but I've seen a lot of unbuilt sombrero, Billy Napier, Tupole. I think that's a bit premature, but most of the things I say on Twitter, it seems like a lot of people take me seriously on there, Shane. I think they would learn by now. But I did say, hey, can a coach go from SEC Coach of the Year to the hot seat in the same year? I mean, it's almost like trending that way, isn't it? I mean, I don't know that I've ever seen a four weeks this high. It's like a damn roller coaster. So high, so, so low. And Florida fans are quickly there. You know, remember you said the honeymoon was over a week ago. Now they're like, fuck, I hate this guy already. It's baffling, isn't it? But Mike, Mike, let's just eliminate the gaze for a second. I just tell you, John Somerall comes in here. He starts out four and two, has a top five win under his belt. They're in the top 25, which they still are right now. Would you be okay with that? I absolutely, I think they would be okay with that. You know, so that's true, Shane. But again, they're probably going to get their ass hammered the next two. Well, maybe so. So that kind of changes the story, right? Yeah. That Texas game, that's going to be something first to 14 wins. And it's a revenge game. I mean, again, you go out and you beat Texas. It's a different story. But again, I'm not selling my John Somerall stock, but there is rumor, Shane. And I don't know this for a fact. So please don't take anything I'm about to say as 100% truth. But there is speculation that there's like some issues kind of behind the scenes. And this can happen, right? When you're bringing in a new coach and he's trying to get his culture and everything's fine, Shane, when you're undefeated and you're 4-0 and you're whooping everybody's ass. I love his Somerall. I'm buying into the process. What happens when you start losing? I think there's probably guys on that team that he inherited that are like, oh, this guy's phony. I mean, I don't know what the issues are, right? But again, players that are probably not all bought in. And that's part of trying to become a winning coach. Remember, again, he's not Nick Saban. For the love of God, please don't misconstrue this. But Saban, the first year at Bama, won seven games. Right. Because he had to find out who was with him. Yeah. And who was who he was. He needed to run off. I think this next couple of weeks, I think some roles are going to figure out who's with him and who he needs to run off. Lake Hiffin won five, didn't he? At Ole Miss. So I mean, yeah, that was COVID year, though. Yeah. Man, that's five. But I mean, this happens all the time, basically. Point being, I know again, I know it's different portal transfer. You can flip it all, but it's a tricky spot that they're in right now. And I think it's showcasing itself on the field. It is. It is. There's going to be some growing pains. And with this competitive conference and the less bye weeks, because we only had the one bye week and the extra SEC game, you're going to have some banged up dudes and teams like this are the ones that are going to suffer the most at the end of the season, toward the end of the season. So they're just begging to get to a bye week right now. Oh, yeah. Mrs. One shout out David Chambers, LSU Loser State University fans are delusional Lane has proved his point. It's just different. They're losing starts at the first half of the season. Yeah. Let's go ribs. Lot less fat jokes online now, ain't there? And I picked them. So I mean, shame on me. Hey, shout out Joey, Joey freshwater. Here's my Beamer contract extension contribution. Oh, wait, was this a ploy? It was. All right, say, let's move on to, Ooh, this was a wild one here. Tennessee finally, finally. Shane goes on the road and beats Arkansas. First time since 2001 in Fayetteville, 24 17. This was an interesting game here. Shane, Tennessee's got some star players like Xavier Gillum. He had a strip sack that ended the Arkansas's first drive. Deshawn Bishop kind of took over in the second half, but Hypal continues to mismanage the clock, particularly right before halftime was brutal. McIntyre was kind of up and down. He made plays, he made mistakes. It's kind of what you expect from a first timer. But Arkansas took over, Shane, took over. It was 7-0 at halftime. They took over in the third quarter, absolutely dominated. Arkansas had 113 rushing yards and 14 points in the third quarter. And it was like, whoa, Daley, this is the old Arkansas, Tennessee. Tennessee is going to shit the bed. Arkansas is going to get a signature win. But maybe this is a different ball, Shane, because McIntyre, although he did throw another pick with 544 left in the game. That's what I was really like, oh, God, it's happening. It's happening. Once again, Tennessee is going down to a sorry Arkansas team. But Tennessee's defense responded again. They did time and time again. Tennessee went on a 94-yard touchdown drive, and then gave Arkansas the ball back, and they punted on fourth and 10 with less than two minutes. And one of the most asinite coaching decisions I've ever seen, Tennessee never gave it back, and they close out the Razorbacks. Who's more upset after this one, Shane? Tennessee fans or Arkansas fans? They're both pretty pissed right now, but Arkansas, roughly so. I mean that I even tried to get Tygo and he sent me some, some message, but I couldn't even decipher. I hope he's okay. He's probably still drinking, but yeah, that, that damn punt was silver Fox right there. You know, I mean, take Stein, big Kahuna Stein and the exact opposite is your coach in Arkansas that there, what are you doing? How many opportunities you're going to have to beat an, a ranked SEC opponent at your house. This was it. And you're punting it and you're hoping that the defense can help you out. Jesus Christ. Yeah. That was a, Hey, keep in mind, a defense that just gave up 94 yard drive. It's not like they were like heated. They were, they were on a heater or anything. No. And kudos to the defense for, for making Tennessee work for this thing, every inch of it. You know, Josh Hopple, just the other low T Hopple. Don't get me started with him. Because if, if that, if Tennessee would have lost that game, we'd be talking about firing Josh Hopple right now. And there's still people saying that right now. This is, this is a sad performance on, on Tennessee, just as much as it is Arkansas, but Arkansas blew it. Arkansas lost that game. Tennessee didn't win it. They, Arkansas lost that one. That's what, that's what losers do, right? They, they don't make key plays at critical times. Shout out to Deshaun Brayman. Man, he really stepped up for Tennessee. He had a rushing touchdown. He had a 68 yard reception. So I wanted to give him a shout out too, but Tennessee lost the turnover battle, Shane, three to one. That's, again, that's how you keep teams like Arkansas around. But again, it's not all, I don't want to pile on the balls. How about this, Shane, they've won four straight road games. Yeah. That's their longest streak since 2006. It's awesome. And Josh Hyple, I saw this stat. I didn't verify it, but I, you know, it was from Evolve, Tennessee fan up. I did retweet it. Hyple's five and one or better in 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26. So again, the guy can coach. I'm not out here saying he needs to be fired and they suck and this and the other, but. But I do worry Mac, like when Big Mac was back and they were blitzing, it seemed like they kind of fell apart, right? That's where one of those interceptions came from. That was a safety hit in him. You know, I, the recipe is kind of getting out there. How to, how to beat Tennessee. That's what worries me. But then you see little flashes. You mentioned to stop, but Mike Matthews, he had a 33 yard, Staley had a 22. There was like a couple of moments where that's where the running lanes is. It almost seems like after one of those big explosive plays, you might as well give Bishop 12 yards. You know, you can turn it around. He's going to run for 12, get you another first down, try to get this momentum going. And then, and it's there. So I see flashes of how good this offense can be, but just thank God Tennessee's got an elite defense to keep belling them out. Right. And remember when I asked you, I said, man, if they could just, I think it was you, I don't know, I do a lot of these podcasts, but I said, hey, if Tennessee could just throw for 250 yards and beat anybody, right? And they did, that was kind of critical. They 247 in this one. Now that, that I don't think was what won it for him. I think it was more Deshaun Bishop being just a, just an animal back there. And again, defense making plays, forcing turnovers. He had, how about this, Shane, Deshaun Bishop, two, or 422 of his yards. He's got 678. 422 have come in the second half. So he's getting stronger as the game's getting longer. That's the second most of anybody in the country. 422 second half rushing yards. And he also has 465 of his, of his yards come after contact. So he is making a lot of it happen because to your point, when Tennessee gets blitzed, their offensive line is a real issue. They can't protect the quarterback. And then if you have an inexperienced quarterback, I mean, it's like a calamity. And that's what we saw against Texas. That was what we saw against Auburn. We're seeing it here against Arkansas, even against, you know, Quincy Rhodes had a hell of a game. He's a hell of a player. Thank God they didn't have three of them. Otherwise Arkansas would have won this football game. But I'll tell you who does, Shane, is Alabama. So they got to get this shit cleaned up in a hurry. Because if they play like they did here on Saturday, they're going to lose. But as a wise man would say, Shane, at the end of the day, they won. That's all that matters. You clean it up. You don't make these mistakes. You don't have these turnovers. They better not have a turnover against Alabama if they plan to beat them. And again, I don't think that's like something that can happen, but they just got to clean it up if they're going to beat a really good SEC team. For sure. All right. Well, you know who did clean it up, Shane? That's where I was at. Yeah. 52 to 17. Shout out them Ole Miss Rebel Shane, where this was a wild one too, where Ole Miss scored five of their first six possessions, all touchdowns. Yeah. Vanderbilt. This is just classic Jared Curtis. He'll kill you. He'll throw a bad pick or have a bad fumble. He got a little careless with the football with one minute left in the half. Did some shenanigans that resulted in a fumble that Ole Miss picked up and scored. I mean, it was 28 to three quickly, and then that mistake made it 35 to three. Then the ensuing kickoff, the defender belt fumbled and then Ole Miss scored again, made it 42 to three. It was just like, oh, Lord, you cannot give Trinidad and this offense gifts like that. That was all she wrote right there. I mean, you literally surrender 14 points in a minute, and you're already losing by 25 points. That was just brutal, brutal, brutal. Shout out to Jam Brown, Shane, your defensive lineman for Ole Miss 300-pounder, caught a touchdown. That was pretty awesome. Kiwan Lacey came back. He didn't have a ton of work, seven rushes, 39 yards and a touchdown. He's had a touchdown in 13 straight games. So despite the score, this was not your best performance, but this was like a bounce back that you needed before we get the stretch run here in the SEC. Yeah, and it just feels like Vanderbilt's one of those teams. Like they'll fight you tooth and nail if it's close, but they may have a blowout here or there. You know what I'm saying? It's that's kind of what it felt like though. They'll keep it close until they don't. And, and once Ole Miss opened up the gates, there was just no shot that Vanderbilt's just not built that way to get in any type of shootout with, with Ole Miss Rebels. So a nasty, nasty game, nasty. And I mean, it was a, I mean, it had the hurricane coming through there. I personally, I hand delivered the Grim Reaper loss to those Commodores while I was up there, but, Hey, had a great time seeing you though. You know? They kept saying on the broadcast, they were like, welcome to a soggy Nashville. That was a perfect explanation. It was pretty soggy out there, wasn't it? Well, it sucks. You know, we get there and then they, they sent out this flyer and told people basically not to put their tents up. So there's like no tailgating, no nothing. It was, it is what it is and they'll, they'll be happy to put this one behind them for sure. Well, you know what? I'm not happy to put behind me, Shane, but look forward to the week seven opening lines. Once again, I'm not counting the cesspool because if Elko is go be like Ed, we don't have a line for Citadel, but the rest we got some SEC action, Shane. Let's get into it. How about Kentucky at Oklahoma? What's the opening line? Kentucky at Oklahoma? Oklahoma, four and a half. Really? Yeah. You don't think Kentucky should be favored? I'm just predicting what Vegas does. It is Oklahoma. Oklahoma is six and a half, though. OK, all right. I see. I think they got the wrong team favored. That may move, right? How about Arkansas at Vanderbilt? Hmm, that would be a fun one. Give me Vanderbilt, three and a half. Vanderbilt, six and a half. Disrespect for Arkansas, you know what? Damn. They just lost by 50 at home. How about Alabama at Tennessee? Give me Alabama at Tennessee. Give me Bama, seven and a half. Six and a half. You almost had it. How about Auburn at Georgia? That's the one I'll be at. Georgia, thirteen and a half. Eighteen and a half. How about Florida at Texas? Texas, nine and a half, nine and a half. You almost got it. All right, how about Mississippi state coming off a bye at LSU? Give me LSU, eight and a half, ten and a half. And then game of the week, Mizzou. At Ole Miss. Mizzou, at Ole Miss, give me Ole Miss, three and a half. Six and a half. How about that? That's tight. What a weekend here. All but two of them. Auburn, Georgia, I mean, that should be a blowout. But all the rest, I know Mississippi state LSU, ten and a half. I think that's a competitive ball game. All the rest, single digit spreads. Hell yeah. In the SEC and Alabama, Shane, the only road team favored. Very, very. It's your cigars ready. Get those Smokies ready. Hey, shout out, Phil. Who is the three toughest games, toughest games for Mizzou? Who's the three toughest? I like that. Let's see. Georgia, of course, at Georgia. Ole Miss, at Ole Miss, Texas. I still think it's Ole Miss, Texas and Georgia. And then, yeah. But I mean, I mean, we just talked about Kentucky, so I don't know. Maybe Oklahoma's all the way back. You just never know, man. Hey, how about Joey here? He's got thanks for the punt signed Clinton Sturner. Oh, I still can't believe that dumbass putted there. You know, I can't either. They give him hell this week. It is even there. I don't even know if he's there anymore. Brita Vett, I'm glad we don't play UT this year. I like it when they think they have a chance and we steal their souls. Stop it. Stop it. I was just thinking that's nice that we don't play the dogs. Hey, Joey's back with another one. Fans are fans. Fans gonna fan out. That's part of the money, Elko. Yeah. Thousand percent. That's what I'm saying. It's what we do. It's what we do. It's what we will continue to do. That's what I told Mike. I said the fans, they'll be here. They were here a lot longer before Elko. They'll be here a lot longer after. So he's just a blip on the map. Without the fans, Elko ain't making his money. Nope. So again, that's just crazy. That's why he took that job, Mike, again, second time. He knows what it is. Right. Shout out David Chambers. Hotty Toddy Ole Miss will knock Mizzou back to where they belong in the SEC. Back to the lower tier of the pack. Simmons is going to be seed ghost. Rebels will win big in the VOT. Come on, Cous. Tell me how you really feel. Tell me how you really feel. Considering how bad their defense has been. Yeah. That's a bad matchup going against Red Hot Missouri. Don't you think? I'm just trying to imagine what this game looks like. I don't know. I don't know. There's part of me that could see a shootout between Trinidad and Simmons, but then there's part of me that I could see Mizzou just do what they've been doing and run it 15 times in a row. And then you look up third quarter's gone. You know, Hey Mizzou fan. He says, I met two Aggies at the game and they were 80 and drove 15 hours to be there. Total cesspool. Exactly. I mean, give it, they're giving it their all. You know what? Hell yeah. But Gavin, you missed the chat. I'm trying to, I'm trying to find it here. You have, how about a free event? We're calling, we're just going to call it A&M cesspool the rest of the season, right? Deal. Deal. I text Billy. I said, Billy cesspool up air changed his, I changed his number in my phone. So JS says, Sark needs an offensive coordinator, plain and simple. It's that easy. It's that easy. It's not easy to do right. It's because I would imagine I would feel like I'm the best at that. Like nobody can do it better than me, but that's what you got to do. The next level that evolution of college football is realizing when you ain't got it and he ain't got it right now. I mean, and he could even call plays. Yeah. I mean, he probably shouldn't, but he could even call plays to hire an offensive coordinator. Do I keep freeze? Well, bring in someone for real that can influence the off chain, bring things to the offense that you don't have, add wrinkles. You have to always be evolving. Otherwise, you're going to get passed and they've been passed for a while. They have to give Sarkin an ultimatum this year and he has to hire a play calling OC to relinquish. Otherwise, he's out. He's out. I don't think he's out. I get these guys make, you know, they got a hundred million dollar contract. It's kind of their way or the highway, you know? And what you hear sometimes is you do hear them come to the coach a lot of times and say, hey, you need to change this, right? Or we will look at changing you. So that won't get out. But I could see something like that happening. Had a force in his hand. You would think you would think, Shane. Otherwise, it could be the end of him. Yeah. Remember old Billy, Billy Napier? Yeah, he wouldn't. Now, again, Sarks way better than Napier. But that's just the example that popped. Hugh Freeze, another one. I mean, these people that they just some of them, they're so damn hard headed, Shane, they refuse to do it. Yeah, I get it. And their ass got to go. You know, you freeze. All right, speaking of gotta go, we gotta go, Shane. Any final thoughts before we go? Yeah, no, I got some work to do, man. So be sure to check out tomorrow. We will have the road trip, SEC road trip presented by Camping World will be posted. So please give that a thumbs up. And again, we'll be heading to Georgia this week. So look forward to seeing all you dogs down there. Oh, you're gonna be barking with them? Yeah, might as well. I mean, you know, it's been a while. All right, that's a good place to wrap this one up. We'll see you tomorrow. We'll be back with Roush, who I think usually comes on at one Eastern noon, Central time. Stephen, same time as always, seven o'clock Eastern, six Central. Until then, we'll catch you on the next one. See you guys, go ball. Hey buddy, this beer's for you, Mike and Cousin Shane. That SEC Podcast loves the Pirate and the Pirate loves that SEC Podcast. Hail State.
