I'm your host, Mike Bratton. Go by SEC Mike. Own him Twitter, streets and airs. Everybody's favorite cousin, Cousin Shane. Back from the road. Not everyone's favorite. Apparently, I am a curse, but it is good to be here. Come on, balls. What's up, baby? Oh, no, what I, you know, it's funny. We went off last weekend. I was like, there's no way it repeats. There's no way that this weekend is going to be as good as last weekend. And brother, I wouldn't even close. This was the wildest freaking weekend of college football I have ever seen in my entire life. I don't know if I can stay in this happy, Shane. You picked against it. You can't sit over here and act like this was coming. No, look at my record. Actually, I thought I figured it out. I thought I unlocked something. I apologize, Mizzou. I don't know what I've done. There must have been a little mix-up with that prediction, but everything else went as planned. You got the A&M game right. That's about it. Yeah, there it is. All right, well, hey, we'll get into it, Shane. As always, we've got to remind the folks, we are brought to you by Omaha Steaks. Go check them out, the presenting sponsor of the football program this season, this football season. Go check them out, omahosteaks.com promo code SEC, special offer for the Cousins, 50% off select items early Black Friday. What? Time is running out, Shane. Every couple of weeks, they change the deal on the Cousins. So I believe it's the last week of the 50% off select items early Black Friday. Still going to have deals, but I can't guarantee they're going to be as good as it. You know what I mean? So go check them out, omahosteaks, promo code SEC. And then even better, Shane, is because a lot of times people hit and they're like, what's that promo code? I mean, it's the same every time, right? But over at Tennessee Legend, they don't even require a promo code, you know, because they know y'all, if you're going in there to get liquor, you can't remember codes, you know? Yeah, no dance required, you know? You don't even have to bring your cigar in. Just be sure to let them know that the cousin sent you because that's your discount and you will also receive a bonus gift. And I'll tell you what, the girls, they're so excited about this paint sip coming up this week. And I'm so excited to get to my hell out of this house. You know what I'm saying? I'm losing my damn mind, but I'm telling you, if you go over here, you will not be disappointed. It's just a fun, fun place to be. It's the right place to be. So swing by Tennessee Legend and let them know we sent you. Yeah. Yeah. Well, speaking of a Tennessee Legend, I think old Deshaun Bishop is quickly turning into a Tennessee Legend because them vows beat Bama yet again. I mean, was this really even in doubt? But this is three times in a row at Neyland Stadium. This time, this is the most dominant one of all of them, Shane. Tennessee beats Alabama 26 to 10. And I know we talked about this. We'll get to more games, obviously. But last time Georgia and Alabama lost in a regular season on the same day was November 4, 2006. Oh, whoa. How about this, Shane? Last time, I just think this is fantastic. The last time Texas, George, or wait, Texas and Georgia both lost on walk-off field goals. Yeah. First time in AP poll history, it's been around since 1936, that the number one team has lost on the final play in consecutive weeks. How about that? That's crazy. Just means more in the SEC, more wildness. What was that other one? There was a stat, you pile one more team in there and it hasn't happened since 1936. Alabama, Georgia and Texas have not lost in the regular season on the same day since October 26, 1996, back when Shane was around 100 pounds, I had to guess. That's right. Yeah. Oh man. I'm just so happy that this Texas team beat Ohio State or we never would have been here at the end of the Big 10 conversation. So no doubt. Well, we don't have to worry about those garbage teams, Shane, because we got Jim Knowles. Shout out Jim Knowles. I mean, he is a man of the, of the, of the state right now. He could run for damn governor. I don't even know if that's something that's open right now, but if it was, he'd take it, Shane, because his defense, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, four turnovers allowed 54 rushing yards to mighty Alabama, gave up only two of 13 third downs, and Alabama had zero points in the second half. And the only touchdown they had, Shane, came off of the McIntyre Interception. They had a very short distance to go, and it was a Keelan Russell rushing touchdown that really Tennessee had covered. They just didn't make the tackle. So again, just complete domination. Yep. Did not see. I thought Tennessee would win, but I did not see this coming. I joked online, Shane, that I had to turn it off because I don't watch blowouts these days. There's too many other good games on, but this one was a damn blowout. And, you know, that did surprise me. And shout out once again, Deshaun Bishop, Shane. Well, I just gave it away. There's only one player in the country, Shane, with 800 rushing yards and 10 touch stands. You know who it is? Deshaun Bishop. Bingo. Hey, man, dominant, dominant, dominant defensive performance. That's what, that's what it really was, man. The first half, you know, you've watched these types of games. You watch one or two drives and like, damn, if this defense could keep this up and they never keep it up, but they kept it up in Knoxville, Tennessee. And you're right. There was that one little touchdown, but I felt like the frustrating part for the Tennessee Vols is every time we got in the red zone, it resulted in three points. You know, you can't do that with Alabama. You play Alabama ten more times, you ain't gonna win every one of them games playing like it. You're gonna have to get a little more efficient in the red zone especially, but kudos to the defense for just locking down. Shout out to the fans. I don't know what that decibel record is, but damn, we had to be dancing near it the entire football game. It was loud. It was rocking. The place was a wild environment. And that's what we said. Keelan Russell, you got to get him rattled, and you got to keep him rattled. And that's exactly what has happened here. This offense absolutely imploded. I can't, I can't, I'm going back to the Mississippi State game. I cannot believe this is the same offense that I watched because it was, it was dog shit. It really was. And I know Bama fans are saying it right now, that they were frustrated with how that performance ended. And at Tennessee, second half team, once they had the chance, once they had the lead, they said, you know what, we're just going to turn around and hand it off 15 more times and eat up nine minutes of this clock. So that's, that's exactly what Tennessee did to close out this football game. It wasn't pretty, but it was pretty damn awesome. Hey, one of the Cousins Shane comment of the night so far. They said, bring back purple Shane. Hey, give me time. It's coming. It's coming. Yeah. So again, six and one Tennessee. Who saw that coming? And, you know, even the defeat was a three point, you know, could have, could have gone either way kind of there at the end. Bama five and two. I'm not writing Bama off. I know that was an ugly one. I don't want to say inexcusable because it was on the road to a right team or anything like that. But I doubt there's many Bama fans that are like, yeah, it's acceptable. After Nick Saban whooped Tennessee's ass year after year after year, this coach has come in and what is it? I believe he's lost two out of three now to Tennessee and yeah. You think Bama bounces back? That's that's so that's what I'm trying to get. Yeah, I'm not burying Bama. This is this is a young team and mainly Keelan Russell. Let's just be let's call it like it is. Right. It feels like to hit the ceiling of what this team can do. They need Russell to play great football and he just wasn't able to do it. And it almost felt like a lot of it was on his on his shoulders. You know, they didn't help him with the running game. They didn't, you know, the defense definitely, I mean, at times it felt like they bailed them out, but really they were, they, it felt like they were in their red zone trying to get out the entire, entire game. So that's just a tough, tough place to, to ask for, for a young quarterback like that. So no, I feel like Alabama still has an opportunity to make the college football players wouldn't be, wouldn't be blown away if they went out, you know, they're a little baby. So if they get healthy, get right. No, this is a dangerous football team, man. And I don't know the history, Shane, of Jim Knowles and the four lost to Moore, but I, I don't believe they faced off again. I could be mistaken, but it just, it felt like Jim Knowles had all the, in all the secrets, like he knew what they were going to try. And I mean, there was huge Shane, huge fourth down stops. I think there was one that Bama did get, and then they fumbled. And I was like, I mean, even when they got it, they screwed up. You know what I mean? So it was a rough, rough night for Alabama. It was like a weird stat that every fourth down conversion Alabama has attempted. They've succeeded and then every one attempted against Tennessee has resulted in failure. And it's like, somebody has to give. And it was not Tennessee, man. Jim, the Jim just got a lifetime contract. Whatever he wants, he's eating for free. He's probably, he's been at Gus's twice today. You know what I'm saying? He is living like a king in Knoxville, Tennessee and roughly. So what's the toughest game remaining for them? Tennessee balls. They're at Carolina next week. Then they get a buy Kentucky at home at A and M LSU at home. And then at Vanderbilt toughest game remaining for Tennessee. Mike, I, I try to get coach speak here, but it's the next one, right? This is classic Tennessee. You get high, you get excited off a massive win and then you just lay an egg. And, and you got to focus on Columbia, William. They're waiting for you, brother. They are absolutely toughest one. Hell yeah. Right now for Tennessee. Now I feel like after this by getting some health back, obviously the next one would be a probably not be. Yeah. How could it not be? It's got to be Kentucky or LSU. No, on the road, South Carolina is where it's at right now. Shane, Carolina's won three games. I know that they will Florida, which we're going to get to here in a minute. Waxing the number eight, what was it? Number eight team in the country at home. So barely, barely letting Kentucky off the ropes. You know what I'm saying? So now you have your opinion. I have mine. I'm just telling you right now, I have seen too many Tennessee football games to worry about three weeks from now because I've done that before. Yeah, but that's not the question. The question is tough as game. Well, shit, maybe it's just me talking. I don't know if it's battered ball syndrome, 22, hidden hooker going over there. Laying sand right now, Mike. They're putting sand on the field. If you were to ask me more likely, Tennessee goes to the playoff for Shane Beamer gets fired. I mean, I think a thousand out of a thousand people would say, well, Shane Beamer getting fired. Like, I think even Carolina fans are like, well, shit, Shane, Shane will it up. You know what I mean? Like, I don't think they're, I think they'll be confident because it is Tennessee because they've had two weeks to prepare. I can imagine he wins Tennessee and still gets fired. Well, I mean, that's the health too, right? Two weeks, like you said, that's a long time, man, especially when you just get one of them. There's a lot of teams that are hurting for a buy right now. Yep, yep. Well, hey, maybe case in point, Shane, number one, they just needed a buy. They just needed a buy, but they couldn't get there, Shane. Oh, no, Mighty Georgia goes down. The last undefeated team in the Southeastern Conference falls to Auburn. And man, I thought this was going to be a tough game, but never in a million years did I think Auburn stood any chance to actually win it. Yet that's what they did. Down go the Mighty, Shane. Because this was a wild one. Georgia led 14 to nothing. I was like, oh, God. Me all week trying to make this competitive. I'm sure I'm going to look stupid. And then Auburn ran off 24 unanswered points. And then Georgia came roaring back, got the crowd into it. They were just, it looked to me like Byron Brown was completely rattled at that point. And I was thinking, well, here come the dogs is what they do. But then, man, Georgia, after they tied it up, they got all that momentum. They were right on the doorstep of field goal range. And Gunner fumbled third turnover for Gunner. He had two picks, but the fumble was the one that really killed them. And shout out Auburn, even though they looked rattled, they got new life with that turnover. And they made a couple of plays, got down there, and kicked a very easy field goal. Curse of SEC media days. My ass, Shane. Everybody we interviewed at media days, except for Mattir, is having a hell of a season out there. So shout out to Alex McPherson, booted it through, beat Mighty Georgia. How about some of these stats? Shane Byron Brown, first quarterback, with 100 rushing yards, in a win over the number one team in the country since Vince Young in the championship against Southern Cal. It's the first guy to do it since then. Georgia was 30-2 all time as number one in the country against unranked opponents. Both losses were to Auburn. How about that, buddy? And finally, AP number one teams, they had won 93 straight games at home against unranked opponents until Saturday. Man, I tell you, and it's a fun place. It was a fun place, brother. SEC Road Trip presented by Camping World. We were there. You ain't welcome. This is the comments I get. I hope you had a great time, Shane. Never come back. That's what I get. And I get it. I understand it. But, you know, you walking around there, never, I never felt like they were worried. In fact, watching this game. I mean, if you're being real, when Georgia Bulldogs went up 14, nothing in the first quarter, I was like, seen this movie before. You know what I'm saying? I know how this ends. And then even when Auburn got back into it, maybe I've watched too many Auburn games. I'm like, well, I've seen this before. They're going to eff it up somehow, some way. And we had that fumble there late. And I thought that's just what Georgia needed, right? They had an opportunity to win this game, but Gunnar with the butt fumble there. So I go round and round on this one. This one just, I mean, this one floored me. I don't, there's no words. I did not have this on my bingo card. What were the 19 point favorites in this football game? It shouldn't have been close. Yet they end up losing at home and this will haunt Kirby Smart. This may be the worst loss I've seen Kirby Smart ever have in Athens, Georgia. I saw that from a Georgia, I don't know who it was. I apologize. Maybe Benjamin Woke, I think is his name. But he said, this is the worst lost Kirby head. You think that's true? I think, it has to be, right? Coming off that big win with Alabama. He's lost to Derrick Mason, Vanderbilt. Of course, that was year one. He's lost to Will Muschamp. Yeah. That was pretty bad. I know, I know, I know. And I'm not trying to shit on the Auburn Tigers because if anything, that's what I didn't want to do. I didn't want to come into this, talking about these games and saying, this is what Georgia did wrong, instead of focusing on what Auburn did right. And Byron Brown, not the prettiest quarterback by no means. But by God, he's the most physical specimen that was on that football field this day. And I tell you, brother, he could not get brought down. The miss tackles alone that Byron Brown created was, it still blows my mind. I tried to tell you, he's elite. I don't know about elite, but man, he did just enough. And he did not want to, like I said, he didn't want to get taken to the turf. And they're going to be watching some of this tape, man. And some of these arm tackles, they thought they could bring this big bastard down. They couldn't. And shout out to Auburn for just playing more physical than the Georgia Bulldogs. 26 carries for Byron Brown. I don't know if he can maintain that, you know? No, no, he can't. Eventually, he's, and honestly, on the flip side of that, you look at Gunner, another guy that loves to run violent runs physical. I mean, he got his ass handed to him in that first drive. So, I don't know, man, this is not sustainable with, like you said, these bi-weeks, especially with what Kirby was saying coming in this game. We got some banged up dudes. They're best defensive players, not on the football field, right? Because of injuries and ailments. Every single one of them are tired and wore out, but this doesn't matter. Auburn has the same thing, and you found a way to lose this game. Yeah. I don't know if you remember, Shane. I said, let's watch out. Let's watch out Xavier Atkins. Do they quit on Golis? Or maybe the reports were true, that I mentioned, that the players actually went to Golis and said, hey, you got to suspend this guy, because he may be our best player, but again, I don't know what he did. I don't want to assassinate his character, but apparently he was stepping out of line. And if it's true, the players, you know, I asked that. I think that would be a good sign of the locker room down there and clearly the belief in Golis. They don't want it to go the ways of Hugh Freeze and Harsin and disappointment after disappointment. So that was a hell of an effort. I thought Auburn's defense really played their asses off. But Shane, you don't like to be the bad guy. Yeah. It just makes it that much easier to be the bad guy. Because I'm telling you, this was an absolute fluke job, Shane. Again, credit them for winning the game. That's awesome. Goalish signature win. He's earned that and he is a quality coach. We've said that before many, many times. But I ain't buying it, Shane. I ain't buying it. If they played again tomorrow, Georgia would whip that ass. Georgia had three turnovers. Auburn had none. And they had a block kick too. I mean, it was just like a calamity of errors over here. And they were banged up, looking ahead to the buy. I'm not too worried. I'm truly not worried about Georgia. And I don't think this means that damn Auburn has arrived. So you're not crediting the half back throw or? Oh, yeah. That's another one. The half back throw. Yeah. The guys ran into each other. Two defensive backs ran into each other. It's like, oh, okay. How many times that going to happen? And then, I mean, Chas Nimrod, that catch was incredible. Yeah. No way in hell he could pull that off. You know what I mean? Like it had all these things had to happen. Yeah. And Georgia still had the ball driving to win it when and Gunnar didn't even get it punched out. He ran into his Bobo and the ball came flying out like. Yeah. I get credit Auburn, but no, that was never happened again. It was some bad luck floating around that stadium somewhere. Yeah, maybe that's it. That's you, you know, I'm with you brother. I'm not worried about Georgia, right? I still have Georgia and the SEC championship. I still think they're the front runner to win this whole damn thing. In fact, man, maybe they needed it. Maybe these dogs need, I mean, Kirby could tell you what it, what's that saying? He's been saying you're a week away from something. I can't remember exactly. I got it right here, Shane. Here's Kirby after this one. He says a damn war out here, boys. We like to say the dogs don't beat the dogs, but they found a way to beat themselves today. I'll open by giving a lot of credit to Auburn. Their physicality showed. I thought they were physical at the line of scrimmage. Their quarterback is really hard to tackle. We knew that coming in. He did a tremendous job with yards after contact, getting out of sacks, keeping them in good normal down distances. But we helped them. We gave them three turnovers and some really critical, undisciplined penalties. And like I say, humility is a week away. Auburn played better than us today, executed better than us today, didn't turn the ball over and hit the red area plays. And we had some really, really untimely, undisciplined, uncharacteristic penalties. So I give them credit, but at the end of the day, we pick it up. Everything we want to do is in front of us. I know it's a big deal to everybody else, but to me, it's it's it's another game and we have to turn around and get ready to go play again because it is a war in this league weekend and week out. Everybody can beat everybody that I'll open up. I forgot about the injuries. There are the penalties. There were some stupid penalties in this game, man. Yeah, but it is funny. And two things can be true at the same time, right? Where this is true, but all these damn coaches, Shane, all these coaches, they're reading from the same hymnal, you know, week in, week out. It's a grad. You guys show up. It's a war. You can get beat any Saturday. I mean, it's like they're just baking in the cake. Their excuses for losing this game should not have lost to Auburn. But he's right. I mean, everything's ahead of him. It's it's not going to kill the season. But that was a rough one. And again, credit Auburn for getting it done. Let's highlight Auburn one more time here, man. Can you pull up that schedule? I just feel like Auburn's sitting in a pretty good spot here. If they lose next week and the week thereafter. This game never happened. It's just, it's not that, but it's just, I mean, it's still going to be an awful year. Well, I just felt like Golis needed a big win, right? To prove that he has the ability to do this, right? Yeah. This almost feels bigger for the boosters and the fan base and the future of Auburn Tigers more than it does technically 2026. But in that same vein, you can't tell me you can go on the road to Athens and not beat LSU at home and not beat Ole Miss on the road. You know, I think belief is a big part of this, mainly with Byron Brown and that confidence. If we can get that, harness that, dude, there's a chance that you could still steal three or four wins in this football season and be sitting pretty in a bowl game. And that's a perfect launch pad for first year Golis, man. Sitting pretty in a bowl game. Yes, year one, I know, I know, not ever, not ever I can have the Steiner recliner, Mike. That's what I've said. I want to be a Kentucky guy where we just drop in a guy, the next Cignitti here, you know, so we'll get to that in a minute. But shout out, I was dead wrong about this one, Shane. The Ole Miss Rebels whooped Missouri's ass 31 to 3. I thought this was going to be a barn burner. It looked like it's the first drive. Shane Missouri went the length of the field, it's a kick to field goal and I was like, okay, that's better than nothing. That was about all she wrote because I don't know what the hell Pete Golden did during the bye week, but he got his team playing their ass off on the defensive side of the football. The story of the game, Shane, Ole Miss, 257 rushing yards, Missouri with Jamal Roberts leading rusher in the SEC had 39 total, 39 yards rushing on 20 carries and that's what the team had, 39. Missouri could not convert in the red zone, that absolutely killed them, one for three for three points. Ole Miss was four for four in the red zone for 24 points. Trinidad was lights out, 241 yards, three touchdowns. Lacey was back, looking like his old self. Even he got banged up, he still had 122 rushing yards. Austin Simmons, I don't think he looked terrible, but I thought it was a little stat padding there, 339 passing yards, one pick. They just, every time I got down there, they couldn't execute. They had a chip shop field goal that they missed. I don't know how the hell they missed it, but it was not longer than an extra point, but they still missed it. And that was deflating as hell. It could have made it a one score game, but this is complete domination. And shout out, this guy does a really good job, Brandon Kiley here. This I thought was fascinating, Shane. So power five teams in a regular season with 375 or more yards and one or fewer turnover and three points. And Missouri against Ole Miss. And the only other time this has happened, Husey Laver, Southern Gallard, 2011. So this was a statistical anomaly here, but basically they were able to have some success, but they couldn't do anything with it, which is historically bad here, obviously. Yeah. I mean, you know, it's funny. We come into this game and we start talking about Austin Simmons and we start talking about Trenton and Kiwan Lacey and, you know, all the big names got the fun playing time, right? But when it all settles, brother, it's settled on the line of scrimmage. And that's exactly what Ole Miss owned. I mean, both sides, offense, defense. And I feel like when Mizzou is hitting on all cylinders, when they're playing their best football, they're running, right? And if you got that bottled up and you're making Austin win this game, can he do it? Yes. He has the arm to do it. But against an Ole Miss football team? No. Ole Miss was the most balanced football team on that field Saturday. And brother, they were again, they're jumping out like Vanderbilt, 21 points. Boom. You know, next thing you know, you're looking at the scoreboard saying, shit, we got to catch up. It's that mentality. And I felt like Mizzou got away a little bit from what their identity is. Yeah, they really did. So what happens here? Do you think with Mizzou, will they get a bye week? What's the number one thing they got to clean up during the bye week here? Well, getting healthy, right? I think the buy needs to be, it's almost like you can't get your battery to 100, but I'll set it for 75. You know, it's like we need to charge, right? And, you know, I'm not saying we're going to get to Arkansas here in a little bit, but this is a perfect game to kind of roll out after the buy, kind of get your legs back under you before you get into that three game gauntlet, which is what we're talking, Texas, Georgia and Kentucky. These, these are monsters of the SEC right now. Well, we'll get to one here in a second, but you know what I'm saying? There's still a very good defense and the recipes out there for how you can slow Mizzou down. So I'm just looking for health and getting back to their roots. Like I said, run the football. You lose any confidence in drink, particularly on the road? No, no, I did that with the Florida game and then look what happened. So I mean, it's a war out there. Mark, at some point you got to win on the damn road, don't you? Yeah. What if they lose at Arkansas? Well, then yes. Yeah, definitely when you word it that way. Anything you saw today give you confidence they can win at Georgia? No, not right now. That doesn't mean you can't. Hello, Auburn literally just did. Yeah, you know, but that's I don't know. I'm kind of I'm very concerned there. Meanwhile, Ole Miss totally wrote them off. They look like a million bucks. They might be there's a case to be made, Shane. This might be Kirby, Mike, and he'll probably love me saying to Shane, there's a case to be made. Ole Miss is the best team in the damn SEC with a caveat because they haven't looked like it for the whole year by any means. And I'm not saying they necessarily look like it on Saturday. Well, hell, maybe they did because of what happened elsewhere. But if their defense shows up like it has at times, like it did against LSU for much of that game, like it did for Louisville for half the game, like it did against Missouri for four quarters, like it did against Vanderbilt, if the defense shows up with Trinidad with a healthy Q and Lacey, there's a case to be made. Ole Miss is the best team in the conference. Would you buy that? Oh, yeah. Yeah, absolutely. If I were gambling and I was putting money on the best offense, like the most likely to have success Saturday with the offense, it's Ole Miss. It's funny that you said that because I think that every team has that one thing, right? We talked about Keelan Russell. Is he unlocked? Is he good? Because if he's good, does Georgia run? If they can establish the rush or something like that? It feels like Ole Miss is just, can the defense control the front, mainly the defensive front, right? And if they do that, then I feel like they can beat anybody in this country. Anybody? Yeah, definitely anybody. You know who they can't beat? Who's that? Omaha Steaks. Shout out to Omaha for sending sponsor of the show. No one can beat Omaha, Shane. Come on, obahostakes.com, promo code SEC, presenting sponsor of the podcast. Tell them we sent you with that promo code, That SEC. You know who else is defying physics? Who's that? Florida Gators, Shane O'Beath. Texas down in Austin, what? I thought Texas ran the SEC. Nope, not against Florida, Shane. Not against Florida, because Steve Sarkeesian and Arch Manning, their ass is owned by the Florida Gators. Doesn't matter who the coach is. Shout out Tramell Jones, Shane, with a backup quarterback going into Austin. Here's a list, Shane. There's not that many lists of quarterbacks to beat an AP Top 10 team on the road in their first career start in the last 20 years. In the SEC, Tramell Jones added his name to the list. Remember Max Johnson? That was the old shoe toss game. Shout out, that was a wild one. Shay Patterson, Ole Miss, back in 2016. Kenny Hill, Kenny Treel, 2014 opener against Carolina, and Greg McElroy against Virginia Tech in 2009. That's the list, Shane, that Tramell Jones is on, beating a Top 10 team on the road, first career start, arch manning, zero, fourth quarter turnovers he had, Shane. Entering last week, now back to back weeks, he's got three turnovers in the fourth quarter, which has killed the Texas Longhorns. So this is back to back week, Shane. Texas had big leads. This one, it was 17 to three right before half, but Tramell converted a big fourth and 12 that gave the Gators life, and the Gators outscored Texas 24 to 7 from that point on. And really the 7, I don't want to say Texas got lucky because they did make a really big play, but it was fourth down. Arch should have got sacked. He broke out of it and threw a bomb and set up their touchdown. I honestly thought when I saw that, I was like, okay, okay, maybe we're cooking down here in Austin, but nope, they lost again, Shane. They're in embarrassment. All the money they're spending, all the players they have to get outrushed 158 to 99 Florida. Credit to you. Shame on you, Texas. Yep, Texas should have won, right? Stop me if you've heard that one. You know, two games in a row that we're sitting here watching this football team. When it was 17, what, 17-3? Was that Niblett? Is that when he scored that punt return? It just felt like, dude, I told you, this was the best bet, the easiest money on the board right here. Struggling Florida Gators, ain't going on the road and beating Texas. You kid? They're going to bounce back. And it, I told you, this would be a perfect game, a perfect game for Arch Manning to get out of his funk. And he's just fun, man. He is just full of it. And how frustrating is it as a Texas fan to sit here and say, you know what? We got such a prideful coach. He won't, he will not, he's so damn prideful. He's not going to step down from call and place. Ain't happening. You know what else he's not going to do? He ain't going to bench Arch Manning because he's too prideful to admit he's been wrong the entire time. Yet he could come out and say all the stuff after post game. Yeah, everybody's being a vet, whatever. But at the end of the day, Mike, I think Texas is in trouble, big trouble, panic trouble. I mean, forget playoffs. I don't ever want to hear playoffs again. I'm worried about you guys going eight and four right now. You know what I'm saying? That's where we're at. And that blows my mind. Coming from that Ohio State game, that second half, dude, I would have bet the mortgage that Texas was going to make us, not only make the college football players, but potentially make a national championship. Now, dude, they ain't even sniffing the damn thing. You said the only team could go undefeated. It's exactly right. Wow, was I wrong? Wow. I love the comments. Everybody, the Florida Gators say like, damn, we love these mannings. Ooh, we love the mannings. So you don't think there's a shot? They pick it up and make the playoff? I have no faith right now, Mike. No faith coming off these last two games. They are who they are, right? And the defense can only do so much. And I, I feel bad because this is a, I mean, the defense has been playing lights out. One of the best defenses they've had. Well, they had good one last year, but you know what I'm saying. And then you pair it with this, can't get points on offense. It is just, it has to be frustrating to watch, especially when you do see some of these playmakers get the ball. Like you see some of these dudes, they're, they're going to kill it in the NFL. That's what's going to piss you off as a Longhorn. When three years from now, you're drafting these bastards in your fantasy football league because they're killing it in the NFL. And you're like, I can't believe we had all these guys that couldn't do anything with them. That's going to be there, Alvin Camaros. That's exactly right. He benched him? What? Does Sartre return if we don't make the playoff? I don't know, man. Here's the thing. Does Sartre return? I thought that's the problem, right? You can't tell him. Are you going to be able to tell him? You can't tell him now. That's what I'm worried. You can't bench him now. How are you going to tell him not to come back? How are you going to have that conversation with a manning? And you know how prideful they are. Hell, you heard him. This ain't the last manning we're going to see, right? So this may not be the last one he's recruiting. So you got to think long game here, but I'm worried. I'm absolutely worried about Texas. And if it gets to the end of the year, Simple Fix is like, okay, yeah, let's go get an offensive coordinator. You know, these are your coaches. You hired these bastards, right? You know, this is you. So go out and fix this. And if you can fix it, I'm all for you. But do you see a world where Steve Sarkisian, prideful Steve Sarkisian says, you know what? You're right. I'm not the best offensive mind. Let's go hire someone else. It ain't happening. So I'm worried because he may get fired at the end of the year. And then how about from Florida, Shane? Who the hell are the Florida Gators? Are they the Carolina Woods, the Missouri Woods? Are they the Ole Miss or Texas Woods? I don't know. They got two weeks to kind of figure it out before Georgia, who's going to be a pissed off team. But hell, we said Texas is going to be pissed off. So I think if good Florida shows up, they could beat Georgia. Am I crazy? You're not crazy. I watched this movie the other day. It took my daughter. It's the least I could do. She's my cameraman. I said, whatever you want to do, we'll go do it. She said, I'm going to go watch a movie. So I was like, all right, let's do it. We watched this movie called Other Mommy. I hate horror films, right? But basically, long story short, it's two moms. It's the real mom and it's the fake one that's like the demon that could kill people. I feel like, dude, I'm watching the Florida Gators here. There's the mom that's probably going to lose because she's a little soft and blah, blah, blah. Then you got the other mom that is just going to absolutely rip your arms off and kill you. That's the Florida Gators. Which one's going to show up? Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde? I have no idea, but this is the most ball to football team I have seen in my life. But couldn't it just be, you know, first year coach trying to figure it out? You know, I credit them. The biggest thing you got to, you have to credit Tramell Jones. Again, Jayden Ball bounced back. He had a nice game. He had, I think, 99, 91 rushing yards. But they won that game, Shane, because of the defense. 11 tackles for loss, five sacks. They got after it. Limited Texas to two of ten on third down. Limited them. They did make two red zone trips. Only got ten points. So the defense is what won it. So maybe Brad White, they're just now figuring it out on that side of the football. But yeah, I mean, this is kind of fascinating to see how they finish. They're five and two, which I think is outstanding given where they entered. Remember, the over-under was seven and a half and at all off season. Shane was like, hmm, that's too bad. That's too bad. If they beat Vanderbilt, if they beat dog shit Florida State, they just got to get one more to hit that over. So I think there's a very good chance they do it, but you could convince me they lose some of these big games too. I mean, it's just, it's just very hard to predict with the Florida Gators right now. Yeah, I mean, I think we've all dated one of these girls, you know, you just don't know which one's going to show up at your door. And I'm a little, I'm a little worried about their future, right? Because yes, the defense played well, but it didn't in the first quarter. And you know, that's a team like Texas. Can you, what happens when you play a team with a better offense, right? Because they're out there and they're on your schedule. I'm, I'm a little worried because saying the defense has figured it out and then, you know, two weeks ago, I watched South Carolina and a week before that, I watched Mizzou just dog walk. Yeah, I, I don't know if they have figured out. I just feel like the stars aligned this weekend. Hey, shout out this cousin. I can't even pretend to say his name. So, but this is a great observation. The SEC makes a lot more sense, Shane, when you just throw out the Florida games, you know? And then here's the old other clip I have, because I just thought, I think this is interesting, Shane. This is maybe the biggest story in the SEC right now. What the hell is going on with Texas? What do they do with Arch Manning? So everything is going to be evaluated. I mean, sorry, just really with the offense, you know, the first drive is effective. I don't know if that's scripted. What happens after that first drive? Failure to do our job well, not call them good enough plays, not win them one-on-ones. I mean, it's all of it. That's my point. It's like, I have to evaluate everything. This will be a long night. Steve, what were your initial impressions about Arch? When you say, everything is evaluated, does that include his job? Everything means everything. Oh, everything means everything. So again, a little Elko-ish here. What's the problem? Everything's brub. I don't know. Hell, I got to go figure it out. But they got a hell of a, we'll talk about it all week, Shane. Ole Miss coming up. Yeah. They don't have a lot of time to figure it out. No, no. I mean, and you watch that game and you try to figure it out. That's what I did when I was rewatching it today. I'm trying to figure out how could I fix this team? Right? Arch Manning holding on to the football. Okay. Maybe we find some quicker routes. Well, then that's what they're doing them little screens for. But it's like, that's it. After the screen and then when Arch has got to come up with a play or an opportunity, it's just not there if it's not just to heave it fourth down all the way to the end of the end zone. He makes some of those. He did that against Oklahoma, right? There was just that catch with, was it Coleman in the back of the end zone? You're just like, wow, I can't believe that exists. But then there's two or three plays where he just can't pull the trigger. He's afraid to throw the football and then he gets sacked. Yeah. And I don't know if you've seen this Shane, but our buddy Brooks, Brooks Austin, he watches all the film and all that. But according to him, I don't know, he may have been exaggerating, I don't know. But he said of all the games he's seen, and he's seen them all, of arch, the guy never makes any adjustments, never makes any checks at the line of scrimmage, never identifies the middle linebacker. Now, maybe that's not part of Sarkeesian's office. I don't know. But is that alarming that, again, after the fact that Brooks said that, I would imagine that everybody else is capable and willing to do that. Either that tells me they don't trust him or for whatever reason he can't handle that. To my knowledge, he's a very smart guy, so I don't understand why that would be. I don't know if you saw that video. It's floating around. It's 40 seconds of being an NFL quarterback. Have you seen that with Fitzgerald? Fitty, the guy with the beard, played for the Jets and everything. Long story short, that's one of the things they talk about is in their head, right? They're talking to a coach and they got two plays to choose from, right? It's simple. You go up there, this one's not going to work. You switch to the other one, but you have options. Apparently, if you're just going with one play, then that's it. You're all in and it almost feels like it may not be confidence about manning. It may be Sarkisian again with his hands on this thing saying, this is the play that will work even though he has to earn that. You have to earn that and that relationship is just going back and forth. They may write a book about this when these kids are out of here. Well, I think they're already writing one, Shane, about maybe the best damn coach that ever lived. Shout out Big Ball Stine. Didn't even have to go for two this week, Shane, because Kentucky beat them in regulation 21 to 13 on the road at Oklahoma. Kentucky scored on their first possession. I was like, oh, buddy, suitors are in trouble. But they just score again to the fourth. And if I told you that at the end of the game, you said, oh, shit, Oklahoma probably won, right? No, they didn't, Shane, because while they got a hell of a defense, they don't have much of an offense. And I think we already knew that. But Oklahoma tried to do a crazy fake field goal. It was a jump pass. The play was there, it looked like to me, but poorly executed. Never quite seen a jump pass from a non-tebow holder man here, but that's what we got. Kentucky scored in the fourth to give them a one point advantage. Oklahoma did get the ball back with an opportunity to win the game. Oh, my dear, my dear, man, he threw a pick six. He threw another pick at the very end of the game. He ended up with three picks, but I would say the first one, totally not his fault. His arm got hit, ball went flying in the air. I'm not putting that on him. I don't even care about the last one because you're kind of in desperation mode at that point in time, but obviously, once again, killer, killer pick six. Yeah. And that's, that was all she wrote. And Will Stein, after this one, Shane, I don't know if you caught it. He said, they tell me stats are for losers. Well, this was a stats for losers game because statistically Oklahoma had a better game, which, which were kind of, you know, that's becoming a little bit of a theme with Kentucky, but statistically, they're a little bit of an outlier, but who the hell cares? Because the only stat that matters is wins and losses. And they won again, first coach ever, Shane, ever, ever in Kentucky history, first year, six and one. He's better than Bear Bryant. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Is that what he said? Bear Bryant. Yeah. He didn't want to be compared to him because he's better than him. I love it. Them reporters got it. I don't know if you saw that lady. She was like talking about, oh, top 25 win. He was like, we were the top 25 team. Get it right, lady. Big ball Stein, man. It wasn't pretty. It never is. But these close games, man, if you're telling me there's one possession between a football team, which coach do I want right now? It's big ball Stein. Now there was a part of me that was kind of scratching my head when they went for it, fourth down right there. You know, you're in your mind. You're like, okay, you're, what is it? You were up one, something like that. You kick a field goal. You go up four. Yes. The field goal work, the interception was great. But even then you're like, get down, get down, you know, don't score cause you're going to give them time. So they gave Oklahoma opportunities, but you know, who didn't get a lot of opportunities? John Matier, because he was running for his damn life. That offensive line, when I got done at the end of this season, I'm, I'm escorting every single one of them out and we're going to try again, being Jim, we're going to, we're going to go across the country and we're going to find 10 reliable offensive linemen because but here will be gone. Our buckle may be gone, but what will need to happen is protection. And they have not provided any of that this season and it's tough, man. I know John Matier is just a easy target, but honestly, he was the target all night long and he's, I mean, he's playing his damn day, just to win this football game. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do it this week. Hey, shout out our buddy, George Stoya. Yeah. Hell of a job, sooner scoop. How about this stat, Shane? He's dug up. In Oklahoma's three losses, John Matier turnovers have directly resulted in 35 points for the opponent. Oklahoma's offense in those three losses has totaled 36 points. So he's damn near outscored Oklahoma himself somehow. So I mean, that's just what a stat that is. You know what? What a roller coaster them boys are going through, huh? You know, they have been a joy. I love these two. Him and Eddie are just hilarious. I saw him pouring out the Natty Daddy. Apparently that's not working. So they're trying something different. And that's what it's about. That's what it's all about. At the end of the day, man, Oklahoma will be fine, but they are in a roller coaster right now. And unfortunately, you can't get off this ride. You're going to have to finish it to the end of the season. And I just don't know how you fix. How do you fix not having an offensive line? I think they would have rolled those guys out. Who would you rather have, Arch or Mattir? I'd rather have Mattir. I know that sounds crazy. If you could do trades. Yeah. Do you think Oklahoma and Texas would trade for one form? I mean, they'll be like, maybe a new setting will work for these guys. You know what? Oh, I don't know. I don't think so. I just think they hate Oklahoma so much, they would never admit to that. Yeah, but they both get to unload a problem, you know? What about, how much would they give Minchie to come back home to Norman? Minchie? He was in Norman? Yeah, if they could. Oh, I mean, I hate to say it, I mean, because this will discredit the kid, right? But I think it's Will Stein. I don't think Minchie is like amazing. He couldn't even start at Notre Dame, Shane. Yeah, till Will, till Big Ball's got on him. That sounds wrong. All right, let's move on, Shane. How about LSU 31 to Mississippi State Goose Egg? Oh, man, was this an ugly one? Yeah. Don't really have much to say about it other than I thought, Leavitt looked really good. 31 to 38, 289 yards, forward Teddies. It was just like a short game. It was like a run the clock type game, Shane, not a ton of possessions. LSU had 28 first downs, Mississippi State only had 18. Mississippi State played somebody named Billy Puckett, and that might be the last time we see old Billy because he had 121 yards in interception. This has got to be the ugliest drive chart I've ever seen, Shane, in a SEC game here. A punt, interception, punt, turnover on downs, turnover on down, turnover on down, turnover on down, turnover on down, game over. I mean, at least they tried, but they just didn't have the weapons to come anywhere close. Kiffin said after the game, hey, I got no pity for injuries, boys. Don't you come crying to me after what we've experienced. So great win for LSU to just slump buster over here. Again, I don't know what to make of Mississippi State. Are they falling to pieces or once they get their guys back, can they come back and how long will they be back? Season is slipping away quickly. They got to get their guys back in a hurry. They do, but until you see them out there, how can you believe it? So I know Jeff, Lebby's on the hot seat, brother. He is absolutely on the hot seat and you can't blame injuries because how many years are we in? You just got, I mean, you kind of absolutely demolished in this football game. And I'm really worried about the future of Mississippi State if you keep Jeff right now. So can that change when Super Camario and Fluff get back? Maybe, but right now I'm not convinced they win another SEC game this year. Even Vanderbilt? Well, I mean, forget, no, not even Vanderbilt right now. You know, especially if you got old Puckett. Is that what it's the name? Billy Puckett. It's like, fuck it. They got, you know, believe it or not, I don't know if you remember this name Shane, Jaden Rashada, Billy Napier, Florida Saga. They have him. I don't know why the hell they don't play him. Is he still around? It's like that baby Gronk floating around, right? I get tagged in one of those. I mean, maybe, yeah, he might just be awful. I don't know, but they got to figure that out. Did LSU, do they, how big is this now? They're eight games in eight weeks on the road out of Auburn team. That's got confidence. They could be, they get eliminated or they could really, they could be cruising, going into this, this by, and then to Alabama, Texas at Tennessee. And that could be a three game Superbowl for them. Well, I mean, similar to what you were talking about, drink, you know, we got road game problems, right? Len Kiffin, he does well at home. I mean, really well, but how does he look on the road? Not so well. He's hasn't even won one this year. So Auburn, boy, they got the belief, brother. You better believe Golis. This is like the fight. You want to talk about coaches getting after each other. I kept waiting for Golis to get after somebody. I could see something brewing between him and Len Kiffin, especially though the way they like take stabs after a game and stuff. So this one could be fun. This one could be excited, but LSU definitely can't overlook them because hell, they just beat the number one team in the country. And what is Blake Baker always struggle with Shane? Mobile quarterbacks. Who just rushed 26 times all over Georgia's ass? Yeah. Byron Brown. So again, interesting matchup for Shane. You know what was also interesting? It's that. The Arkansas Razorback. They broke the skid. They had lost 14 consecutive Southeastern Conference games. They obliterated it. Shane, shout out KJ. He had a really good game. 21 of 31 for 251 passing yards and also led the team with 58 rushing yards and scored on the ground. Unfortunately, I don't know how bad it was, but receiver Chris Marshall got hurt after his first catch. But it didn't phase him. He hit 12 different targets in this game. Vanderbilt had two costly turnovers in this game. Arkansas scored 10 points off the turnovers. That, I mean, that's literally the difference in the game. So go on the road, take care of the ball. Don't make any stupid mistakes. Don't punt with the game on the line. And that's all it took. And Arkansas gets them a much needed victory. They got two weeks to prepare for a home game, I guess, Missouri. So who knows, Shane, this could be the turning point for old Silverfield. Yeah. Well, I mean, they've been kind of close here, you know? Obviously with the Tennessee game and, you know, you just kind of sense a little bit of turn, but it's almost like the Razorbacks don't want to yet admit it, especially after, did they give them an extension after this one? That's what I, that would be classic Arkansas, right? Like one win on the road. And they're like, dude, we got to lock this guy up. No, they didn't do that. So calm down. You don't have to Google it. But I do think that this was a big game mainly for Silverfield, just to kind of get the media, especially local media office back a little bit. And they're not all the way off, but you keep stacking wins like this. This is big. And Coach Lee, I don't know what we're doing, brother. We're, I've never seen a fall from, from, I mean, we went from 10 and 2 to this, losing Arkansas at home. I mean, we're getting, I mean, look at 80 points in the last, over 100 points in the last three weeks. Golly. And the rest of the schedule, Shane at Kentucky, then they get to buy. They need it at Mississippi State, Bama at Florida, Tennessee. Confidence of Vanderbilt gets a conference win. Slim, very slim. I mean, it's Mississippi State, right? That's your game. And I, what's that going to be played on F1 or something? What was that? The CW. That one in the PBS games. Any chances results in Arkansas heating up and getting, I mean, hell, if they didn't get this, like we're writing them off, buy our silver field. But you're right. This is multiple weeks in a row. They've looked pretty good. And you could argue three out of four weeks, they should have got a win, which is crazy to say for Arkansas. But I mean, they could beat some of these teams, don't you think? Yeah, absolutely. And for me, it was identity. We didn't know what it was the first few weeks, and it's starting to come together, but also on defense. You know, there was a couple of big, big picks, big turnovers in this game. And it seems like that defense has been the missing piece a little bit. So, yeah, I'm not again, we're not going to get to part two. I was told to do that, but. SEC champs, Arkansas Razorbacks. But I don't think you could just pencil them in as a win anymore. Okay. Okay. Well, we could pencil one in for A&M, Shane, because they took care of the Citadel 41 to nothing, got off the shnod, and for all the jokes. Hey, they got a winning record, brother. They're four and three right now. No, they do go to Bama next week. But that's neither here nor there, Shane, because they got the offense right. Touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, field goal, field goal. That was to open the game. Totally stifled old Citadel like they should have, which I didn't have confidence in them to actually do it. But credit to them, they did it, and they stifled them on the ground, stifled them. I mean, Citadel, I didn't realize they literally couldn't throw the football. But it is what it is, Shane. Marcel, he had no mistakes. We got the backup, some much needed reps. We had Edwards rush for over 100 yards. This is exactly what I wanted to see from them fighting A&M Aggies. Do we have a quarterback competition now, him and Brady Hart? I think we might, Shane. I think they had very similar stats. Marcel Reed, what did he have rushing on here? 4 out of 23. So, you know, I mean, this is, this is what they were supposed to do. We really shouldn't talk about this game because we never, this should never have been a game. And they came out and did the right stuff. But did we get enough? Did you feel like you got enough in this game saying, you know what? A&M is back, baby. You know, I felt like establishing the run is something they sucked at so long. They wanted to make sure that was the game plan. In fact, they showed them the script, said this is what we're going to do. We're going to run 80% at you. So just be ready. Joey Freshwater here. The Citadel was a quality win. Pride of Texas right there, boy. What's a midnight Yale for a Citadel look like? You know, I bet they're all there. I bet they're there. I think so. All right, Shane. Hey, we got a fun weekend of action in the SEC Week 8. I would like you, sir, to guess the opening lines with once again, nothing but conference matchups. No Citadel this week, Shane. So give me the point spread, if you dare, for LSU at Auburn. LSU 13. Not even close. Six and a half. Damn. Hey, they love Auburn now. Yeah, they're back. They're back, baby. It was good seeing them throw the Tumors corner again. Yeah. I mean, hell, this has always been a great series. Yeah. Hopefully Kiffin and Golish, you know, they can kind of rekindle that. All right. How about A&M at Alabama? Alabama, eight and a half. So you're off your game. Yeah, dude. Fifteen and a half. Wow. Damn, no respect. Did they not see the Citadel game? How about Tennessee at South Carolina? Tennessee, six and a half. One and a half. Maybe you're right. Maybe it's the biggest game of the year. Yeah, I told you, man. How about Oklahoma at Mississippi State? Oklahoma, seven and a half. Two and a half. What's the over or under on that thing? Twelve? I don't have that, but I'm assuming they think Camario won't play. I don't know. I really don't know. I truly don't know. But would that change the line for you, Shane? Let's say we know Camario's playing. What's the line for you? See, I was basing it on Camario playing. Okay. And you said what? Six and a half? Yeah, for Sooners. Right. So what if he was out? What would be your line? Oh, man, I'd probably say nine and a half. I feel goal. He's only worth three. No, it's just Oklahoma. I mean, I feel like he's worth 20 or something based on what I saw against LSU. Yeah, I'm not worried about. Yeah, mine's just the offense. They still got a score to make the spread work. All right. How about Vanderbilt at Kentucky? Give me Kentucky. 15. Okay, a little bit better. 11 and a half. Okay. And then last but not least, maybe the best game, Shane. Maybe the best game here. I don't know. Ole Miss at Texas. Ole Miss. Three and a half. You nailed the number. Texas, huh? Texas. Three and a half. Golly. Dude, I don't know about that one. I don't know. They still got there. They're still riding the arch train. The bookies, I guess, I guess, I guess. Get your bets in now, guys, for that move. Hey, we missed a ton of these. Shout out to all these great super chats. Valls, Nicky. Thank you. What's the deal with the voters? Bias? Lazy? Just don't care. Go Vols. Well, you might have to narrow it down to what are we mad about? I'm assuming Tennessee. Yeah. I mean, all the above. Lazy, bias, just don't care. Yeah, I feel like it's kind of I mean, it is kind of funny. You're looking at the AP poll after third Saturday, Saturday in October is Georgia. But then it's Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky. I mean, nobody had that on the bingo card. Yeah, that's true. They don't know what to do. These AP voters are lost. Nobody but Will Stein. You know what? That's right. A, R, B, S, Bentley. I was in Athens to tailgate with the fan for the Georgia win. Apparently the college football overlords paid the wrong Shane in Athens and gave Tennessee a win along with Georgia and Bama loss. I need my inhaler. Sorry, guys. Me too. I didn't know you had that many hills. You know, let's be honest. A lot of hills down there. What too bad? What too bad? Jack Poo. Shout out my mom, cousin, Emily, and go Rebs putting belt to ass. It's always good to see some Auburn and Gator fans in the comment section again. He added this one RB. Mark Sanchez was proud of that last book bubble there with that was that's a tough way to lose. You know what? Yeah, that'll keep you up. Bobo will hate that. Hey, shout out Cy Gore. Almost a year, cousins. We appreciate you, buddy. Hey, thank you, cuz. Cousin Glenn, 26 months. Shout out Glenn. What an awesome sooner he is. The OU offense is embarrassing to college football. Burt Vegetables, defensive coordinator, not a head coach. Man, isn't it rough being Oklahoma? It's just like the wild swings. And shout out Josh McQuiston. He worked for Sooner Scoop 2, Shane. He made this point after I posted this. Vettables is consistent. Win, loss, win, loss, win, loss. Oh, gosh. And again, if you look at his track record, he goes six wins, 10 wins, six wins, 10 wins. They won six. So he's probably gonna win six this year, and he'll probably win 10 next year. Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's wild, isn't it? It is. It is. And that's why they're pissed off. It's almost like you can bet on this pattern, you know? So, and it's not the fun year. But we all got bought in, you know? Yeah, that's it, man. Myself included here. Raycomb Judd, please, Shane, please go to Neyland after the bye week. I want you to go for Kentucky. That's it. I ended up switching. I can't, I've already done, I've already done Neyland. So I was going to Auburn, and then I was like, no, I'm going to Columbia. And when you went to Neyland. Yeah. Tennessee did lose. Yep. Texas won. Yeah. I'm bad luck. I haven't won a game since Ole Miss. That's been a long time. You used up all your mojo on that one. Shout out to TJ. How about how much bourbon we drinking in Knoxville for November 7th for the SEC Championship game. Go cats. What if these Kentucky fans are damn fired up, Shane and the team they hate more than anybody. Yeah, it's not Louisville. It's Tennessee. They hate Tennessee's guts. Yep, they do. What's funny when I was in Lexington, they lost, but they were also talking about the team because I asked them, which is the most hated fan base. And I thought I'd get a lot more Louisville, but no, I got a lot of Tennessee. They are always on their mind, always in their mentions, all sports. It's not just basketball or football, but it's basketball, you name it. So yeah, this is a big, big game for them. And wouldn't it be something, the final SEC Championship, it's like Kentucky and somebody else we didn't expect. I think it should be, you know what? Yeah, hell, that'd be wild, man. I'd love it. Hey, shout out Vol Tiger from Mike, a 12 pack. Thank you. So I go to the store and actually buy some alcohol. Appreciate you. Thank you, Vol. We need it to cheers us, all these wins over here. Saigourg, Florida Gators, like some said, we still suck. We still suck. Bodie. Wait, does this mean Texas is a slump buster? Oh, no. Who's slump? Who's buster? Buster or slump? Will they bust next year? I guess state, right? State would be the one I'd circle, right? And then Mizzou's right around the corner. So they got two back to back. They could really help out right now. Boost their confidence, at least the defense. How much would you bet if you had to, you have to put a number, like a maximum number that you're willing to lose, that Texas goes 10 and 2? Oh, man. Now, you're going to hit a jackpot if you're right. But again, you've got to put some down here. Like out of 100, like that's all I got to my name, I would put nine bucks, nine dollars. That's all I got, man. And what I'm really worried about, Mike, is getting that bad answer next week. Because one more, they're out. One more, they're done. And if it's Ole Miss, there's no way they're getting in. So, yeah. Well, what if Florida wins like nine games and Ole Miss goes 10 and two or... I mean, then all of a sudden, these losses are respectable. Not Oklahoma, I guess. Yeah, not the Oklahoma. I just, I don't know. I mean, AP is probably going to keep them up because AP voters sometimes just don't watch football, but where's your game to get you back in? I mean, you really need Mizzou to do well moving forward. You really need to... Well, I hope Ohio State wins their conference. I don't think Ohio State matters as much as what's ahead of you. So LSU, you would need them to... I guess that's the team. LSU, you need to be like, they can't lose any more games. Yeah. What if Tennessee wins the SEC? And they're like, oh, shit, they beat the Big Ten and SEC Champions? Yeah. I mean, if you put that on a resume, it sounds good, don't it? Nate, shout out Nate, Cousin Shane, gonna make his way to Rock It Up when them Willie Wildcats stroll through town. No. Texas game was a Brad White special. Florida is still dog shit. I'm getting far away. What is that? That's, is that week after next? Is that when that is? Tennessee? Yeah. Yeah. Well, they get Carolina and then it's a bye. Okay. And then it's Kentucky. Yeah. I think I'm doing Auburn that week, if I'm not mistaken. And Kentucky's got same deal. They get two weeks to prepare. And the SEC knows what's up, Shane. They gotta give Kentucky, they gotta give Tennessee two weeks to prepare for a damn SEC Championship. The first matchup. Hey, Ohio Valley Storms, appreciate you. And SEC team absolutely needs to win the NADD, or we will hear our conference was mid the entire off season. That's it. Dear Lord. I don't know how anybody could say this is a mid-conference. I mean, it helps we beat Ohio State. It helps we beat Minnesota. It's a nominated non-conference. Yeah. That's a little different than like years past, right? Definitely last year, Texas losing to Ohio State. The Michigan one, that was a black eye, but now we're kind of figuring out who Oklahoma is. So we're like, all right. How big was that win, Michigan? TJ says the Willie Stein ESPN documentary is going to be a big hit. Oh, dude. I'm worried. I'm a little worried because I told you in the off season. My hot take was Stein would had a hell of a season and and he'd be one hit wonder. That's that's I mean, you got to be thinking about it, right? Well, you got the first part, right? Yeah. Shout out David Chambers. Say it, Mike. Rebs not losing. How did the damn AP poll is screwed? Obis ain't losing. They look they looked incredible. They did. They're it. What were they on your power rankings? Where did you have Ole Miss right now? To to. OK. Yeah. Jeff, Georgia won. Yeah. Yeah. Good. Is that crazy? Oh, see at the top, the top is the power rankings. I don't know. I don't think anybody ever picks that up. But what this whole time? Yeah, that makes sense. All these years, Shane. And I keep asking you. So where do you have Tennessee three? But how could you put it? Could you in good conscience put Georgia anywhere else? No, no. I mean, Ole Miss, Georgia. No, no, I still have I still have Georgia number one. Yeah, because there was so much weird shit happened in that football game. Yeah. It's a bad loss, though. Yeah. That Florida one, it was a stinger for Ole Miss. That was an absolute stinger. Just like Hook him. He stung here, Shane. Sup, Cousins. I was at Texas, Florida meltdown. I swear this offense, embarrassing the defense worked so hard and hurt one of our best players. Yeah. Colin Sims. I don't have an update on him, but they carted him to the back. So not great. No. Hook him. The guy flipping off him Gators on the field. Is that him? That's all. Hey, shout out Joey. A midnight yell for Citadel looks like two teams that can't find their ass with a search warrant. Nice. Johnny, I appreciate your deja vu this weekend, because we meet again, right? It does. Last time I watched it with Mike, I ain't going to watch it with Mike. Nope. Same coaches, too. Beamer, Hypal, Tennessee's field confident, Tennessee's going to win an Addy. I told you, them sand trucks are already out there. They're going to have new wristbands on this week. Just wait. It'll happen. It's ish. David Chambers Ole Miss win the last SEC championship. Go to hell, Georgia. All right, let me ask you this, because now we're getting a lot of championship talk. Yeah, I said, I feel free to disagree. I know you like to even when I'm 100% right. I said the only teams that can win the SEC are the top six in my power rankings. So that'd be Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Bama, Kentucky, LSU. I think the rest of them. Yeah. No shot. Would you agree with that six or would you change it? Would you? Is it five, four, three? What do you think? One, two, three, four, five, six. No. Yeah. I think you're good here. Even LSU. Aren't they six? I'm asking you. Can LSU win this? Yeah. No, LSU could. Okay. I feel like a lot of people are out on LSU. I still think there's a good team in there. Yeah. I'm out on Mizzou and Oklahoma and all these guys. They're not going to make it. What if Good Florida is week in, week out? No, I just feel like we're kind of too far in, right? We are who we are. Some of these teams, I just feel like have a better path to an SEC championship right now. What if Texas puts in the backup and he's amazing? Yeah, I don't think Steve Sarkisian is going to do that. So, okay. Okay. Hey, shout out, Nicky. Only two SEC teams, top 10. Watch the game. Oh, I got you. Yeah. Yeah. That's a tough look for him. Yeah. That's a tough look. I would put those five or six. I'd probably put them all in the top 10, to be honest with you. Yeah. I mean, Kentucky's proved it, right? They beat LSU. I think Tennessee and Alabama, it's just the better team won that Saturday. So what would it look like in Tuscaloosa? You know, I don't know. Yeah. Georgia, Ole Miss, obviously, they're in the top. They should be the top 10. So yeah, I do feel like there should be more teams. At least, I would say at least four should be in the top 10. I'll go with six. All right, Carl, I appreciate SEC catalyzing each other. Vols in the SEC Championship, defense elite, offensive line stepped up. I think that's a big storyline, Shane. Just the, what was it? Three weeks ago, whatever Texas game, they absolutely got stampeded by Texas mighty defense here. Then allegedly, Alabama elite, they steamrolled their ass. So that's a good point by Carl. We need to shout out the offensive line which lost, arguably their best interior offensive lineman for the season, yet they inserted new guys and I didn't see them miss a beat. When is the first college football playoff list come out? Isn't it soon? Because AP is what it is. I think it's just... I'm not so much worried about it as I am worried about this committee. And I feel like this committee understands how important scheduling is. That was an emphasis coming into this year and it was brought up again like week three. So they're like, hey, we're going to remind you again. Basically, it is the first ranking, Shane. Yeah, shall be in two weeks. OK, November 3rd, Tuesday. So two weeks and live show for that one. Yeah, yeah. That's the highest ranked team out of the SEC in two weeks. Georgia. Even after they lose to Florida. Not if they lose to Florida. In honor of Halloween, can we start referring to them as Will Frankenstein? I like it. You know me. I love nicknames. Yeah. All right. And we also had these, Shane. I want to honor these. I took a screenshot of all of them. But oops, we had a bunch of cousins donated here. So shout out, we shout out Glenn. Yeah. Cousin Glenn, we appreciate you, buddy. Thank you, Cous. He gifted five memberships. Shane, Justin6782, James Sellis, Sooner Gary, Tidy Swag, OHValleyStorms, and then we also had... Tiny type here. We had SSC. Pilot. He gifted five. Shane, two. Steve Flexicander, J.Dowd, Gatlin Bivens, VFL Willie, Troy V. And then we had one more. We had Seigur. He donated to... Gifted Joey Freeman, Ratt, D. Taylor. That's interesting. Austin Wilson, and Drabby Debbia. All y'all, welcome. Welcome to the family. All right, anything else, buddy, before we hop off? Just a reminder, tomorrow morning, we will have the SEC Road Trip presented by Camping World. Athens may not have been great for Georgia. It was good for Auburn, but it was also good for the visit. We had a great time, so look forward to getting that video out to y'all. All right, so that's going to do it for this episode. We'll be back tomorrow. Dose episodes. We got just a couple of 6-in-1 boys, Roush and I will be on. Usually, I think it's noon Central, 1 Eastern, every time, so we'll be on for that. And then Stephen, last in the smirk one, 7 o'clock Eastern, 6 Central, same time as always. We'll catch you on the next one. Thanks for watching. Like, subscribe. Bye-bye. Hey buddy, this beer's for you, Mike and Cousin Shane. That SEC Podcast loves the Pirate and the Pirate loves that SEC Podcast. Hail State.
