Joy is always my co-host, Nick Falato, and you know, crazy Giants game. They were up 10-0 controlling the whole game. They fumbled a punt and I'm sorry, a kickoff return and then it seemed like the whole game went out of hand. They're then blown out with two interceptions from Jameis and the third interception from JJ. McCarthy. And then all of a sudden, JJ. McCarthy threw for 243 passing yards in a quarter. The Giants actually had a chance to win the football game, spiking it and giving themselves a chance. There's a lot of endgame stuff I want to talk to you about with regards to this game. But before we do any of that, I do want to start the show with a forward looking question, a 30,000 foot view question and one that quite frankly means more to me right now than answering these little minutia of this specific game. Did we just watch the end of the Jameis Winston experience, at least for now? I'm not sure and John Harbaugh is not divulging that information, nor did I expect him to. I'm sure the beat is really pressing him forward. I wouldn't be shocked. He turned this around like that was we were dead and out. And that's another thing, just before we really get into the JJ. McCarthy conversation. I do want to like as bad as a hole the Giants were in. The fact that the Giants got themselves into a position to possibly win this football game because Harbaugh said they would go for two if they did score on that final drive. I have to applaud the Giants just for being that resilient. That's the word that we keep using. But holy shit, was it so frustrating after the Charlie Jones, the deflating fumble and the team just could not get out of their own way. But you insert JJ McCarthy into the equation and he was taking shots, the ball was jumping out of his hands, he was hit like that. That throw to Isaiah likely over the middle of the field where he layered it over the linebacker right before the safety on that one touchdown, like dude on the one touchdown drive. That was excellent by JJ McCarthy, like an excellent throw by him and he had several like that. So I think we know what Jameis Winston is. We don't know what JJ McCarthy is. So I would not be shocked if that was the last time we see Jameis Winston unless something were to happen to JJ McCarthy. But what the wait and see what exactly happens throughout this week of practice. What about you, buddy? I predict that JJ will start this next week. But I'd like to ask you this based on what you've seen and what you know about football. Because let's keep in mind, I mean, I don't want to just dismiss the fact that we did just do a film review last week where we said Jameis Winston was the best player on tape. And we both felt that way. We individually came to that conclusion. He was the quarterback seven in EPA per play over the last two weeks. And the Giants do not win either of those football games against the Cardinals. Or really, both games they lose. Or I'm sorry, they don't tie and win a game against the Cardinals and the commanders. If Jameis Winston doesn't make the plays he made. But with that said, maybe they don't lose this game if Jameis Winston is in that quarterback. So I think that's part of the Jameis Winston experience. And I think that's a big reason why they will make the decision to go to JJ McCarthy this next week. I'm not sure they ever really felt good going with Jameis Winston. They never seemed to feel like he was a comfortable fit for their offense and ever really tailored it around him, tried to said they would really didn't. They just kind of got him getting hot in these two minute no huddle type situations where he spread it out over the last two weeks. But this week wasn't the same. He threw two horrible interceptions. And they just never seemed to get the ball moving besides that one touchdown drive. So I think they will. The question I have for you now, Nick, before we get into this game is, do you think they should go to JJ. McCarthy as the starter next week against the Texans on the road? Or should they wait a week to get him prepared because they have the bye week after that so they can come in after that? I kind of want them to start Jameis next week and do exactly what you just said. Okay. Because I think the Texans, I think that's going to be a tough spot for JJ. McCarthy. But is that punting a game against the Texans? I'm not sure, because Jameis Winston is a professional who's been around the game for 10 years now in the league, right? Like, for all of the mistakes that he is prone to making, he does have what we saw two weeks ago, right? And I think giving JJ that extra week could go a long way. Now, I'll say this. Once they go to JJ., which they will soon, which we've been saying for a little bit now at this point, it should open up some freaking running lanes. You have to imagine, because how much whenever Jameis Winston goes into the mesh point, you just go, what the hell is going on? Right? Like there's no respect for Jameis Winston's ability to run the football. The Giants don't even really try to do many zone reads or anything like that with JJ. Whereas with JJ., I think you can get more creative. So hopefully it will open up the rushing attack, which has to be the number one priority for the Giants offense right now, is why the hell can't we run the football? You had a 20 yard rush by Darnon Mooney, a 23 yard rush by JJ. McCarthy. And other than that, you didn't do anything on the ground. You didn't even see Cam Scadaboo. It's been an abject disaster, their inability to run the football. So next week against the Texans, I think a lot of it is, I don't know what's going on in the building, how much JJ knows with the playbook, how comfortable the coaches are with him adjusting and making checks at the line of scrimmage. We saw him in hurry up mode and it was excellent what he was able to do. But if they're comfortable with all those things, then yes, I would be. But I'm not certain that they are with a 22, 23 year old quarterback who's been in the building for three weeks. And that's probably what will ultimately decide if they're going to do it or not. Though I think there are other factors in the decision. Even if you feel like he's somewhat ready or close to ready from the playbook standpoint, do you want to start him on the road against Houston in his first start? Do you want to go through the process of if he struggles in Houston and you make that decision, then what? If JJ stinks next week and he's named starter, you have all the questions from the media, you deal with all the BS., all the distractions and everything of that nature. And do you have to go back to Jameis or do you say, oh, we'll assess it at the bye week and we'll make a decision? I think if you're strong enough and you're tough enough, you just say, don't worry. You know, you don't worry about what the media is saying or what anyone's saying. You say, we made a decision to go to JJ., we'll go with him. I think honestly, you probably can ping pong this thing around Nick and flip back throughout this season. It's not like you're really, you know, I've always been a big, I've always hated the like if you draft the quarterback, you can't put any pressure on him. Don't give him any competition and never show any sign of not being faithful in them. I feel like the best player should play and you should have to earn everything regardless of where you were drafted. But they're in a lucky position where JJ isn't really their future quarterback as of now and probably won't be. So they can kind of play ping pong with these two guys and just play whoever they feel is playing better at that moment. But I do think they will, I think they should, I think they will and I kind of think they should go to JJ even though I am more of a Jameis fan than most. I think he played a big role in those last two wins. I think his deficiencies really show out at times as well. The ball placement issues that they had in the first half, even before the interceptions, the interceptions that are just dumb and are just like completely off target. The fact that like the ball just like travels a different way when he throws it to a receiver versus when JJ. McCarthy, for example, throws it to a receiver. You could see it on the likely reception. You could see it on the big neighbors reception that set up their final chance to maybe score. And really on every throw he made, the ball just has a different kind of velocity with JJ. McCarthy. He's not as bad a thrower as people made him out to be. And he's nowhere close to as bad a thrower as people made him out to be. And the fact that he showed what he showed is another reason I think they should go with JJ. McCarthy for this week because I mean, the guy came in and threw for 243 in less than a quarter. That's the ninth most passing yards, Nick, through the entire 1 p.m. slate. And that's a lot for a given week in the NFL. 243 in a full game is like more than the league average last year for quarterbacks. As insane as that sounds, passing has been way down in the NFL. He's able to do it in less than a quarter. So just that alone, showing that alone, I think, probably gives him another chance to start. And then the final thing you touched on that I do want to get to, which is the run game and the possibility that can help the run game. I'll leave that as more of a possibility for me, Nick. I think the run game is totally broken and I'm not so sure a mobile quarterback is going to change it all that much. I'm hopeful to some extent, but I would caution myself as more cautious and not really optimistic there. Yeah, I'll say this too, man. JJ McCarthy, that 23-yard rush that he like, that will help the run game. Yeah, that's a good point. That's not what I'm referring to. When I mentioned the running, I'm talking about, look, I have my reservation with the Giants' ability to run block in the trenches right now. But I do think the defense must be kept honest. And I think there's going to be a lot more mesh points, a lot more zone read, RPO action, things like that, with JJ McCarthy, which overall makes the defense have to consider a lot more than they're considering right now. Because right now, you're like, hey, let's stop the run and be gap sound. If you're playing the Giants defense, which isn't that tough because the Giants can't really run block right now. Right. Or allow Jameis, and just slow down Jameis Winston's arm. Whereas JJ, you have to worry about JJ on design runs, you have to worry about JJ on the scramble. And that adds a lot more to your playbook. And even if the playbook can't bail you out, if you have a bad call, or if the defense is on top of you, JJ can make a play with his legs. Which says a lot about him. So a lot of it just for me depends on, is this kid comfortable enough to really have a full comprehension of this system? I'm not sure. Cause all we saw him was in a hurry up mode against the defense that was like, oh, we got this in the bag. And also a good point. You know what I mean? Like they didn't, this isn't a neutral game script. Like I'm not even certain the Giants benched Jameis. I think it was, hey, let's just see what JJ has. Cause we suck right now. We can't get anything going. And then JJ went in there and lit it up and kudos to him. And we'll get him a little bit more into the game and what happened here in a little bit. But yeah, JJ McCarthy is going to be the starting quarterback sooner rather than later. If it's not this week, it's going to be after the bye week unless Jameis Winston goes into Houston and throws for 504 and wins. More importantly. Yeah. Like if they go to Jameis again for this week, Nick and the Giants win. I think no matter what, Jameis will be the quarterback coming out of the bye. The question is if they go to Jameis again this week and they say, all right, we'll get JJ fully prepared coming out of the bye week. And Jameis loses to Houston. I think then it's a lock. JJ comes in, so I think you're right about we're going to see him at some point. Because I don't feel very hopeful about this Texans game, to be completely honest with you. Stroud's playing really good football right now. Better than almost all quarterbacks. Roy Noel was crazy, dude. Yeah. I mean, he's just been better than like eight or maybe eight max quarterbacks in the NFL, despite everyone saying he's done. Like he's one of the actual ones who can see the field and throw the ball well. Obviously, would snap out of that funk to some extent. But it's going to be a tough matchup regardless of who's quarterback. I do think they're going to go with JJ though. I think it's the right decision to give them the best chance to win against Houston, as long as they feel comfortable with where he's at with the playbook, which I would assume by now they probably do. I mean, look, it was hurry up like you said, but he did seem to be able to operate a normal drop back offense in that hurry up mode. Again, he made like what PFF or anyone who charts at fantasy points data would qualify as like six, maybe five, six, a half dozen big time throws in that whole quarter, which is insane. And I do think it's possible that Jameis was also just straight up bench for poor play. He threw two awful interceptions. The ball play was bad to begin with in the first half. He really stunk against the defense that was banged up. I will say this, the Saints defense I thought was better than I expected it going in, because I do think that line is still good with Cam Jordan, Chase Young now fully healthy, playing good football. And then the one other edge or interior guy that I'm playing. Well, they have Granderson. Granderson as well, who's also, yeah, just enough, just three decent pass rushers at the very least. But this was not a defense that you shouldn't be struggling the way Jameis was. And I think he was benched in part for poor play. Drew Mackensire here from WWE. You know how championship teams win with consistency, not random big games? Your body works the same way. That's the whole idea behind Joy Mode. It's designed to support blood flow and nitric oxide production, which is the foundation of performance, stamina, and confidence. And the big difference is this isn't some prescription situation or awkward doctor visit. It's a simple drink mix you can take daily to help keep your system performing the way it's supposed to. Most guys don't think about this stuff until something's already off. But nitric oxide production naturally drops as you get older. That can mean less stamina, less consistency, and less confidence in the moment. Joy Mode is about staying ahead of that and supporting your baseline before it becomes an issue. And it's not just for guys dealing with ED either. In Joy Mode survey, 73% of men without prior issues still notice positive effects, things like firmer erections. Hello. Better stamina? Okay. And more confidence overall. You just mix one packet with water like an electrolyte drink, take it before sex for an extra boost, or use it daily for more consistent results over time. Over 200,000 men already use Joy Mode. And if you want to try it yourself, go to tryjoymode.com/banter, or use code banter at checkout for 20% off. Joy Mode, better erections naturally. Yeah, he was. And dude, this was a frustrating game, too. Well, I'm not a hodger. It was a weird game. Just a lot of sloppy penalties, these false start penalties, but the Giants are just being on discipline. And the spiral was what really sucks. Like, you had the- It was a bad spiral, yeah. It was a terrible spiral, because the Giants, you hold them to a field goal, and it's like, okay, we're going to halftime 10-3, or possibly we could drive down the field, maybe get us about a field goal, maybe score a touchdown. Charlie Jones coughs it up, and then it was just like, all right, we're- It wasn't like the defense quit after that, but on that, Alvin Kamara, I'm not saying they quit on the team or anything like that, but there were so many missed tackles, and they just got sloppy, and they got desperate, and the heavy pressure that Dennardwilson was dialing up on Tyler Shuck, which I fully loved, right? Like, I loved seeing that. It just ended up wearing thin for the Giants because the Giants couldn't tackle on the back end. And Kamara looked like 2018 Alvin Kamara out there. You have Jason Pinnock missing a tackle, you have Jevon Fallen. The run defense was bad, too, in the second half. Really bad run defense. Yeah, against the team. Expectedly against a bad run game. Yeah, exactly. And it's not even like you got beat by Jevon Johnson didn't have a catch. Chris Alabe had four for 43 with a touchdown. Like this was a tough loss from the standpoint that the Giants dominated much of this game. And then the Giants had an excellent comeback. Dominate defensively, I would say. I wouldn't say they never really dominated. Well, they controlled. Maybe I should say controlled is better. Yeah, before the Fable. Because when they were up 10-0, I felt like the Giants were control. And defensively, the Giants were dictating the entire game. Tyler Shuck was just throwing the football hot into the blitz. And then right away, you saw Greg Newsome, you saw Deontay Banks, you saw Javon Holland, you saw Darius Washington, you saw all these guys just clamping down on these receivers. And they just could not move the football whatsoever until the unfortunate fumble by Charlie Jones, which is just devastating. The special teams unit just gets an F in this game. It was pretty bad, other than Dominic Savada and Jordan Stout, of course. It was a freaking weird game, man. Yeah, it was just odd. Before that fumble from Charlie Jones at the end of the first half, Tyler Shuck was completing 40% of his past, sub 40% of his past, I think, for 58 yards passing through a whole half. And it was like, defensively, that was the most complete half. I saw the Giants defense play in at least this season and probably dating back pretty far. And then all of a sudden, the second half, they couldn't stop the run. They couldn't fit the run. Like you said, they weren't tackling on some of those throws. And it just seemed to unravel. But in part, it's because the Giants can't do anything on offense with Jameis, which leads me to like the point of like, yes, maybe you do not even just consider you probably just go with JJ to give you something kind of spark because right now, here's the reality of the Giants offense, they cannot run block, and they don't have superstar running backs. They also will get into this a little bit later, have what I would consider to be a suboptimal, irrational, running back split right now. That's how I view it. I do not view, I view Nagieres as a clear worst of the four without a doubt. And I view Tracy as probably the best option, but also Scadaboo as the clear two tier. And Scadaboo didn't even touch the ball today, did he? No. Scadaboo didn't touch the ball, was literally benched for the fumble. Though Nagy had a fumble two weeks ago that didn't cost them the game, but could have. And Nagy's just god awful every time he touches the ball. And I hate to say it, I know it seems like I'm harping on this, but I just can't watch this guy play. We're the only team that signed Nagieres. He was unsigned and would have remained unsigned going into the season. You can't always assume rational coaching. That's not how the NFL works. There's plenty of bad coaching decisions year to year. We've seen it throughout our history. Playing Nagy Harris over Scadaboo to me is irrational despite the fumble, especially because Nagy had his own fumble, just came at a different time. Anyway, my point, and I also don't think benching for like a full benching like that teaches a lesson or changes if he's going to fumble or not next time. I think the guy made a great play to hit the ball out. You got to hold on to the ball, but so does Nagy. Tracy has no fumbles in the regular season and yet hasn't really been featured. He got more work today, but like the reality is they're not moving. They're not using the right rotation of backs in my mind, Nick, and they can't run blocks. So that's a problem for this offense. And if you're one dimensional, maybe you do make decision, go to JJ for that reason too, to try to give yourself a second dimension of any kind. We need a second dimension right now. Of any kind. We can't just offensively, we can't just rely on, hey, Jameis, you know that? We'll go to shotgun. You know what quarterback embodies? Inconsistent and reckless football over the last decade. Let's rely on solely his arm. To do everything. Yeah, to do everything, exactly. And yes, he may give you a 350 and three or 350 and four, but he will also be a pumpkin. And he was a pumpkin for a lot of this game. And I'll tell you one player who's gonna be really happy if JJ McCarthy gets in there. It's gonna be friggin Darnell Mooney who left this game with an injury because I don't know how many times this guy needs to just get a hospital ball delivered to him. And he's wide open over the middle of the field sometimes. And for whatever reason, Jameis Winston, Jameis Winston will throw a beautiful pass to to Isaiah. Like he'll throw a beautiful pass to Malik neighbors. But whenever it's Darnell Mooney, those two cannot get on the same page. And he just misses him wide open, forces Darnell Mooney to jump up and fully extend, expose his ribs to Pete Warner and just get fricking cocked. Like dude, he's gonna be like, oh, thank God, you know, this is getting great. You're so right about that. For whatever reason, his worst throws have all gone to Mooney. And I feel bad because I would like to see Mooney with JJ if they do go to JJ, just to see, because he has been getting open. He's been getting screwed like you talked about. But I mean, you're right. Like it's not only you can't rely on the one-dimensional Jameis from just like the standpoint of, can't always play in the gun. You can't always play hurry up. But it's also like he's gonna throw a couple of dumb ass picks. Like the one pick, I guess you can say was a miscommunication with neighbors. He tried to anticipate where neighbors are gonna be and kind of throw it. The second pick was just a bad throw from a ball placement standpoint. And like McCarthy is gonna give you some of those as well, just so everyone's well aware. Like McCarthy is gonna have a lot of misses once he's named starter of this team. But if he does offer you a dimension as a hit from the run game standpoint, from his running, like you mentioned, Nick, or from what you said, either what you said, Nick, either him running and getting the 20 whatever he got on that run, or just the fact that these end men in the line of scrimmage aren't gonna just crash down and just totally sell out to the running backs. Any of that might be worth it for what they need to do because you just they can't rely right now on that first half being the blueprint every week, right? Like you can't rely on a defense to dominate a half and then you'd have when be up 10 points and you know, occasionally you get something going on offense because they don't have the personnel on defense and B, that's just not a long term winning formula, I guess like it kind of worked in 2022 with the Giants, but it required such an easy schedule to have that happen. Yeah, and this is also different than that team. Like Jameis Winston through his faults can push the ball vertically is not shy to do any of that, as is JJ McCarty. Like that wasn't the case in 2022. We will create explosive plays. Our problem is, we can't run the football. Yeah, and we're not explosive plays. Yeah, exactly. And sometimes, you know, we're going to throw intercept. We're going to be reckless with ball. We're going to turn it over. Either quarterback probably going to be reckless, right? I think so. In your mind? Probably. Yeah. Now, JJ is probably more, would you say? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, well, look, JJ is this young player who I think he could be fooled more easily. But that interception that he's through, I'm not really blaming. I think that's just a lack of rapport with Isaiah. Likely he thought it likely was going to sit. How many times have we watched the tape and likely runs that same exact, likely fields, whoever, whoever's the number, whatever concept it is, that inside receiver loves to do that and then flow away. He reads the coverage and then if the leverage of the defense is in a certain area, he's going to flow away from that defense. And I think JJ thought he was going to sit, which I think I can kind of understand why he thought that, but he didn't. So we do it right to the safety. But that's not, that's just like a rapport thing. That wasn't like JJ McCarthy making a bad read. Good point or a bad throw. I think it's also a good point. It's not a bad like, like Jameis' second interception was just a god-awful ball placement throw. Just like a genuinely bad throw. And he has like three to five of those a week where the ball just comes horribly out of his hand and doesn't go anywhere where he intended, Jameis. JJ, you're right, didn't really have any of those. That's just like you said, that's a rapport issue. Though I will say this, the fact that he threw for 243 without getting any reps in practice at all with these guys and the timing looked pretty damn good with Neighbors and Likely on a lot of those throws and even like, generally speaking, it's pretty impressive to me that he's even able to do anything, dude. When we see these quarterbacks come in late in these games, it's usually horrible, man. Like it's usually just like a nightmare. They're teeing off, no one's respecting the run. Every single end is, Lyman is rushing the passer and the rapport is off, the timing's off. We did see the interception where that was the case, like you mentioned, Nick, but outside of that, the timing was good. It should give the Giants like a real decision to make, which they might've not had otherwise. Yeah, so we spoke a lot about JJ. Well, then we're going to obviously die. Well, let's talk to special teams because you mentioned it. Well, I want to talk about Scataboo specifically. Okay. Okay. Let's go there first. Yeah. We referenced it and we mentioned it and a lot of people talk about it in the chat, but what are our thoughts on that bench? Is there something more, something internal that maybe we are not privy to as to why, or was it just because he fumbled? And look, like Kim Scataboo is kind of the identity of your offense right now. That doesn't mean he is the best player. It's going to be Malik Nevers and Isaiah Likley in my opinion, but Kim Scataboo fits the identity of your offense, but to bench him and give him zero carries and to use a four running back rotation where they all kind of sucked except for Tyrone Tracy Jr. And then on the ground, they all sucked and Tyrone Tracy Jr. had the rushing touchdown lead. I think it's a conversation to be had. Is that the right move or is it just, do you think we're just not fully privy to the entire situation as to why he was effectively benched here? Now, the way Harbaugh said before you, before they said at half time, Harbaugh mentioned something. He played the same amount of snaps. He just, the way it was called, he just didn't get any touches. Is that bullshit or do you think that's real? Oh, interesting. I have two questions there. I'll answer that one first. I think that one is mostly bullshit, probably from Harbaugh. Now, as far as the first one goes, I think that's a really interesting question I didn't think about. Is there something going on behind the scenes as far as why Scadaboo didn't get the start or Scadaboo didn't really get any touches in the entire game, not just the first half? Maybe. There's a lot of different opinions on Scadaboo, Nick, across the internet. Not just on how good he is. There's opinions on, if you fumble like that at the end of the game, you deserve to get your ass benched and you need to miss all this shit. It is what it is. I'm not saying I'm right by any means. My opinion is not the same as theirs though. I don't really know if that teaches the lesson that people think it will. I think fumbles are bad whenever they happen, but if they happen at the end of a game, they're viewed so differently. I watched that play again, Nick. I thought that was a great individual play by the defensive player who punched it out. But I also think... Marcus Bowe, too. Sorry to cut you off, but Marcus Bowe got bitched on that play. Jerome Payne took Marcus Bowe, rolled him to the side and then punched it out. That was just an exceptional individual effort by one of the better players in the NFL that no one talks about. But I also respect that, like, you can't... If you do that, like, I guess there needs to be something like... It is what it is on that front. I don't know fully how I feel on that, Nick. But I will say this, he is the type of player that fights for extra yards, and like, not like in a Nagy sense. I keep hearing how Nagy fights and falls forward, and I just never see it. It's the most amazing thing. Nagy has this reputation of him getting extra yards, and it just never happens. He gets stopped and then he's just stuck. Every single time he gets contacted, he's stuck. He falls forward occasionally when he gets the lateral cut, when he gets the burst from his own jump cut to get lateral, but when he's not getting that jump cut and the momentum forward, Nagy, he gets stuck and moved backwards for a loss of six. But Scadaboo fights for her yards and actually is effective in doing so, Nick. So like, if you do that, you might give yourself a better chance of getting that ball punched out, because the play's not dead, you're fighting, you have a reputation with the refs, you're fighting for every yard, and then boom, comes in the third defender and he knocks the ball out. So like, maybe it's that too. They're like, we need to just be a little bit more efficient with our caravies. They're like, I don't know, man. I don't understand it. So all of these, all the fumbles that the Giants have suffered, dating back to preseason with these running backs at this point, it makes me think it's something else that he effectively got benched in this game. I get the high leverage and the critical nature of last week's fumble costing the Giants a win, but still, I just, there might be something else there. I don't know shit about anything. You know what I'm saying? I don't know. Yeah, it's a good point. There was that thing that Pat Leonard reported at some point in camp about how the defensive players were getting pissed with Scadaboo or whatever, which was never substantiated. It was just reported by Leonard or whatever. But like offense and defense, you kind of hate each other for training. Right. That was my take on that. Yeah. But I'll say this now. This is how pathetic the Giants are running the football. Their leading rusher was JJ McCarthy, who had two carries and one of them went for negative two yards. It doesn't surprise me. They never committed to the run of the game. B, they again, they ran Nagy like Tracy had 18 yards. Singletary had 14 with a long of nine. And then Nagy had two on four carries. And the one play where he lost like four yards or whatever. Like, I'm not. Yes. Ronan got blown up, but he also just like stuck. He got stuck, man. Like, you know, like, I know someone's like, Scadaboo did that. Scadaboo did that on the trick play in the red zone where he like tried to go laterally and actually had a chance to like throw the... He was a bad trick player, whatever that was. This was like a regular play where Nagy just got stuck immediately on first contact. And it's not like, I know Scadaboo and Singletary either missed that first contact or make more after that first contact. It is what it is. I don't want to bleager on this. I'll talk about the Scadaboo thing. I just don't see it at all with Nagy. And I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with anything regarding anyone who thinks he deserves any snaps at this point with the Giants. He would not be signed by anyone but us, and I'm not just going to assume rational coaching at any point when it comes to some of these players. To me, it should be Tracy and Scadaboo moving forward point blank if you want to get this run game going. You could give Singletary some stuff, too. It's fine. He's a solid player. Nagy to me should be cut by next week. That's just how I see it. I don't see a player who looks like an NFL player. Do you, Nick? Like, what am I missing here? No, not really. I mean, I mean, NFL players, sure, but I just I'm looking at the Giants roster and I don't see what he's adding to the Giants roster that the others can't give other than maybe that. And this kind of goes to my previous point that there are some more to the Kam Skatibou story. Look, Nagy is bigger than Kam Skatibou by like 20 pounds. It's just like, he just understands how to actually like, like all the little nuances of playing running back then. And I'm not saying Kam doesn't understand that, but maybe there's something that he understands at the, that appeals to the coaches that the other Giants running backs just are not providing. Maybe. And it's at the size, really. But to me, he's practicing well or something. I don't know, because I thought on two of those four runs, he had a cutback land and he just didn't see. Like to me, now she has bad vision, bad after contact, bad before contact. I don't see anything he offers from a running back standpoint outside of Pass Pro. Yeah, Pass Pro is good and he's got the size that they want. But for me, it's more just what you brought up weeks ago, which was spot on and it's like a lack of lateral agility. It's just when he's cutting, it looks like he's in mud. Whereas the other three, including Scadaboo, who's not known for his athletic ability, when they cut, boom, it's instantaneous and they're at the hole. And you need to be that way with this Giants blocking scheme, not because it's designed that way, it's because of the scheme and the players. It's not getting it done. The personnel is not there for the Giants. Even the Giants, even the Giants fits, like the personnel that they have on the offensive line that fit what the Giants want to do offensively. They're not playing well. Like CeCe is not playing well. He's had three shit games, right? He has, unfortunately, and now he has an MRI after the game, according to. Oh, shit, I didn't see that. Yeah, he's hurt, too. It's not it's not good. No. And look, I mean, hi on him. This is not me. But I'm just saying he's struggling with his transition into the NFL. That's going to happen when you play tackle at the U. And now you're coming to play guard at the NFL level and you're playing next to different centers. I think all of that is. And then you're also your best your best player, Andrew Thomas. He's playing injured. We saw him hobble off the field, too. Right. Yeah. He looks every game he plays looks like a struggle for him. Runyon, we knew was never a fit for this. And then you're cycling through two centers who aren't that great. You know, so it's it's a and then you had Marcus Bowen there today, who's not. That's really what it comes down to, right? Like the run game for you is mostly the blocking in the scheme, not working. And to like people are like, well, how is this? I saw this conversation, Nick, and I'm curious at what you think about it. People are like, how is this possible? Greg Roman's never had a bad run game. It's like he's also always had a mobile quarterback, you know, Lamar, even Herbert. Like, and now so maybe that will be the spark they need so he can maybe be doing the things he wants to do. Having JJ McCarthy at quarterback who is mobile, maybe dude. But I also feel like his personnel is probably worse now than it's been. Though I guess that I mean, the Chargers personnel couldn't have been much better on the old line last year. Could it have been? No, that's the weird part. Like, so maybe it is a lot on Jameis hurting the run game. I don't know, man, but something has to give here. And I just, you know, for me, I agree with the comment that I lost it now, but I think I got somebody made in the chat, which said, if the Giants were to cut Nagy Harris tomorrow, he will remain unsigned for the season. And I think based on the tape that I've seen, it would be a lock that nobody wants that on their roster getting snaps. So for me, that's part of the solution. One thing that I think a team like the Browns would have brought him in today, right? Like, I think Paul... Yeah, when you're like desperate. Maybe, though. I don't know, dude. I'm not sure. Like, he looks bad out there to me, really bad at football. Yeah. And I know he doesn't look like he can move. He got the start, too. Which says something like... Like, I don't know. I don't know. Like, if he checks all those boxes of the intangible things that we're not necessarily seeing on tape, maybe that does play into what we were... What I was, you know, positing a little bit earlier about there being more to this Kam Scataboo thing. And again, I don't know why... But why not start Tyrone Tracy, who actually looks good? Because he fumbled in the preseason? I mean, Najee fumbled in a real game. Yeah. What's he doing here? That play, man, like Tyrone Tracy. I don't think the other three running backs, maybe Singletary. I don't think the other two run on those other three running backs, besides maybe Scataboo, I think, who can sometimes evade. Yeah. Well, I'm talking about the touchdown of people, like evading. You're talking about the receiving or the rushing? The receiving one. Yeah. OK, that's the one I also I think maybe Scataboo, probably not. Yeah. So like, but my point is, like, he's clear cut. I think you're most explosive back and he offers that as a threat. I don't even think he's like elite. He has the best vision, too, besides maybe Singletary. Yeah, which is saying something, too. The other the other two haven't been great. He just looks the best. Like he has a lot of tape with the Giants. A good tape, right, Nick? Like we watched it. His vision, the cuts before the line of scrimmage, the before the contact, the after contact, the burst that receiving like it just is clearly your best back. But he fumbled in the preseason. And so now she starts over him. He's not he's not he's not this coaching staff guy, too. If that is not this coaching staff guy. Right. Another thing there, it is what it is. I just don't see it. And I respect that this is not the culprit for the run game woes. It's mostly the blocking this game, the Winston. We don't have great backs. None of these guys are amazing solutions, but I just think you can give yourself a better chance to win by not burning touches on Najee Harris with how he looks right now. Yeah. I mean, it's I have to agree with you. Right. Yeah. He looks the worst, but overall it's been maybe the Giants think, hey, this guy, I don't even it's not even like if he gets up to the second level, he's right. It's not any bad at the second level, too. Yeah. So it's no, he's just like, I understand. Yeah. It's like specials. Well, I wanted to ask you a question about coaching, if that's cool. OK. Yeah. The coaching is the end of the game was not ideal for the Giants. Yeah. So what I'm referencing, and I thought Drew Brees did a good job bringing this up at the end of the game, was after JJ. McCarthy completed the deep pass to Malik Neighbors, they got the Giants to the 27-yard line. There was 329 left, and then there was a false start penalty, and then JJ. McCarthy got sacked, and then they had a 17-yard catch, and then they kicked the field goal on a third and six. But they burnt like a minute 20 off the clock in doing that. Should the Giants have just kicked the field goal at the 27-yard, or would it have been the 32-yard line? It would have been a longer 49. It would have been New Orleans' 27-yard line before BAL's penalty. So the ball would have been on the New Orleans' 27-yard line after that 46-yard grab by Malik Neighbors that JJ tossed him, and that would have been 256 left in the game. Kick the field goal, go up or go down now by seven, and then put it back in your defensive hand. The Giants would have saved about a minute on the clock in doing that, but they chose not to, and those next two plays ended up being a false start, and then a sack, and then that 17-yard pass, and then Nick got the Giants after the sack back into solid range for Zavonna to kick the 41-yarder. But maybe the Giants should have just kicked it then. So I just wanted to run that past you to see what your opinions were on that. Just from a clock management standpoint, it seems to make sense. Yeah, I don't think it's a maybe. I think it's an obvious they should have done that. And Drew Brees pointed that out, and obviously if they had done that, they would have saved a minute and got the same result, a field goal. I mean, you're going to probably make a 44 yarder, I think, I hope, at least in those conditions, that Zavada will make that almost every time. That's how kickers these days, under 50 is basically a make every time, or should be, to me. So then you get the ball, you get the extra minute, you probably win that game because you don't have to, you might win that game, I shouldn't say probably, because you don't have to spike the ball and waste it down there at the end. Give yourself another opportunity. Or honestly, if you have another minute, Nick, on third and one, you could just convert with a run and then spike the ball. And now you have like 40 seconds for first and goal for probably three or four plays there at the end. So it is clearly the wrong coaching decision. The better question is like, can you be expected to make the right decision there in the moment? Because that's such a scenario. They don't go over in the preseason and training camp. Like you would hope that the coaches are aware of all this stuff. But I have to imagine they were that this is a big enough coaching staff to where they were. But maybe they were just hey, Zavada missed some kicks last week. Maybe there's some of that to it. Maybe it's just hey, let's try to get the seven points right now to make it a field goal game because we're moving the football really well. I think there was a decision to make. But ultimately, in hindsight, of course, it's easier to suggest that we should have just kicked the field goal there. Because time ended up being the biggest enemy at the end of the game. And I think we just sacrifice time for momentum there. Like hey, we have the momentum. Let's try to seize upon the momentum instead of putting it on the foot of a rookie kicker and miss three kicks last week, even though two of them were highly unlikely kicks to make. True. And you're probably right about that they want to do that. That's why I'm not too upset with Harbaugh. I'm not like, oh, sure, definitely. I think he was thinking about all this shit. I do wonder what Dougie Analytics tweeted about. Shout out to him. Another idea, which would again had to be like forward thinking from the coaching staff. But even after you blow that and you lose the minute by not spiking it and having Zavada kick it, you could still then kick the ball out of bounds and take the penalty to get it at the 40-yard line. And in that scenario, the no clock comes off the time and they get the extra time out from the 2-minute warning. That was another option of the Giants. Because obviously, they kicked it deep, they returned it, they got to pass the 2-minute warning. But if you get that 2-minute warning, now you're getting the ball back with, I think, close to another minute. It would have been like 40 to 50 seconds. So they had two opportunities there to give themselves an extra minute there at the end of the game. Again, it's hard to blame them. These are scenarios that don't come up all that often. But you would have hoped that maybe they could have figured either of those two out. Because it does give them a real different scenario at the end of that game. JJ has a real chance to score there if he has another 40 seconds in the second scenario or 60 seconds in the first scenario that you talked about. So that was rough, obviously. I think also in this game, the special teams are just god awful. We talked earlier this season, there's going to be one to three games where the special teams wins us the game. And the giant special teams DVOA going this week was by far number one in the NFL. They're the best special teams by far. But today, the special teams, I don't want to say lost them the game, but it certainly didn't win them the game. The fumble might have lost them the game. And momentum wise, you could argue did. And then the penalties, the constant penalties, and it really wasn't just limited to special teams. They had penalties really all throughout the game. Stupid penalties here and there from the giants. They played a very stupid, undisciplined game, to be honest today. Yeah, Zaire Barnes took that block in the back on the punt return. It's so dumb. It's just like, what are we doing? We were penalized ten times for 73 yards in this game. And they were key penalties, like you were saying. Yeah, and a lot of them were also mounting penalties, where it was like, hey, false start here. Okay, now another false start. So what was second and seven ends up being a second, whatever. But the Giants ended up having 461 yards in this game. And it was like 381 through the air or something crazy. Yeah, they couldn't run the football. I mean, the Mooney's 20-yard rush and then McCarthy's 28-yard rush or wherever the hell it was. Like they couldn't run the ball. So it was really off the arms of JJ and then Jameis Winston. What were the running back carry splits? Running back carry splits. Tracy had six for 18. So three yards of carry, single carry four for 14, three and a half, with a long of nine yards. And then Nagy had four carries for two yards. So they only had four carries for two yards. That also brought the average down. They only had 11 carries for the running backs in this entire game. In a game where they were at one, for a full half, they had a lead. And they still only had 11. No, no, it was 15 carries. Oh, did I get that wrong? Tracy, six, single, three, four, six for Tracy. Sorry, yeah. Even so, like 15 carries is not a lot. They really are one-dimensional and were one-dimensional. Well, Jameis, it's just another reason to consider why you go to JJ McCarthy right away against the Texans. Just to try to get out of this, it's gonna be very tough for the Giants to win a division with a one-dimensional offense and a defense that's good and getting better, but still not perfect and still not fully there, as I think we all are willing to recognize and realize. And it really just depends on the JJ. I mean, I don't want to beat this dead horse, but Trevor Lawrence had a good game today against the Texans defense. Now they ended up losing, but he was able to move the football, his legs, all that kind of stuff, right? Like his mobility is an asset. And JJ had some plays in the pocket today where I was like, holy, like that 46-yard pass to neighbors, how he maneuvered the pocket to avoid contact was very impressive. Whereas if you have a statue back there against the Texans defense, that would dial it up a little bit. And also some really good pass rushers with the Giants beat up offense. I'm like, it could pose a problem. So the Giants are going to have some really, really honest conversations tomorrow on who the hell they should proceed with. And whoever they choose, I will understand. But I do think after the bye week, it's going to be JJ's job unless Jameis lights it up if he's chosen. I really think it's going to be Jameis' job starting this week. I mean, JJ's job starting this week because it's another good point you made about like think of how many times in this game we had poor pocket manipulation from Jameis Winston where the pocket is breaking down and he has no real chance to escape. That happened three or four times. And on all those times, think about it from like, we're talking about being one-dimensional as an offense, Nick. Well, like if you have Jameis Winston in, you're a one-dimensional offense, you can't run the ball. No one's respecting his ability to keep the ball. But how about from like a third down standpoint? If you're Jameis, if you have Jameis Winston and his lack of pocket manipulation, his lack of escape ability, you can then just play man all the time on third down really, and be like, whatever, like we'll leave a wide open lane for this quarterback to escape and run through because he's not going to be able to beat our DNs and our D tackles to get out of the pocket. But that's going to be another thing the Giants will have that they're disposed of if they turn to JJ McCarthy. You'll have the ability to, you can't just play that same style of defense on third down because he'll get through that crease McCarthy and it'll take the 11 yards. And now you have another first down. So that's another interesting aspect of it. Like just the escape ability part of it. Yeah, 100% escape ability is a big part of it. We spoke a lot about the offense. You know, defensively, Arbel Reiss just, holy shit, this kid is so impressive. That's another great game. The play where he blew up the climbing offensive lineman on the screen and he shoved him back into whoever it was, Donaldson or Kendrick, one of those idiots. And I shouldn't say that, but one of those running backs. And the guy ended up going down for like a loss of four. I just love watching this guy. Didn't hear Abdul's name called too much. Ball was coming out quickly. We had back to back holdings called on him. Yeah, other than that. That was the big thing. Finally, we got holding calls from Carter. Was it back to back? I know he had the one. I think it was back to back plays. It was either one, there were sequence either one, it was maybe one play in between. Yeah, that was when they ended up in like a second and 25, like the Saints. And it's just quick. Yeah, Reece just like, and that wasn't even that egregious of a hold on that one. I know some of the other ones are a lot worse than weren't called. I know. But it's good news because it feels like something might be turning there. It might be like Carter's reputation is finally getting big enough that he's going to get these calls. And that's really what it comes down to for me in the NFL. I feel like your reputation plays a big factor in what calls you get and don't get. We always talk about as Mike Evans and his OPI, but like I hope Carter starts to get this rep with the refs. Like this guy's getting held a lot. So we got to really look for these holds. Yeah, he's he's insane. Both both those players are just wild. And Holland had a good game other than the one missed out. But the coverage was good from the corners. Pretty damn sticky. I mean, look, you said it was the beginning of the show. Four for forty two for a Lave is a great game by your corners. If you're if he's only getting forty two yards, look at what a Lave stats are this year coming into this game. I'm actually curious. I feel like he's been dominating before. This is actually a season low for Chris Lave. And one of those was kind of in garbage. And whatever will count it. But a season low, he's at one oh seven, one sixteen, one eighty two, eighty sixty and forty three today. For a set, there was a season low for a Lave on both receptions and yards today. The Giants corners are playing good football. Yeah, they absolutely are. Bryce Lance got a touchdown. We saw the run defense wasn't good, though, today. I didn't feel like did you? No, not really. First half. Yes. First half. Yes. And I think they were just on the field for a while. There was a time when the Giants often didn't touch the field for almost like an hour. 13. Yeah. It was almost an hour of real clock and like 30. Yeah. When you fumble a kickoff, you just kill yourself. You just we can't be the team doing those idiotic things. If we don't do that, we probably win this fricking game, though. I don't know. It's weird because the end with the JJ. I don't know if they would have turned to him as fast stuff to say. No, exactly. Exactly. But even on that, like the Giants, and they got down on a third and goal like I was like, oh, they stopped Kendrick Miller on that. And then it was a fourth and goal that they scored that little two-yard touchdown pass to Bryce Lance. If the Giants still buckled up, even though it got tough. But I think the big play was a shuck scramble, wasn't it? Like a big shuck scramble. That was what killed him after the fumble. He just had a 25-yard scramble. Yeah, where he looked like he was going down, but then he didn't. And then the Giants didn't want to hit him. You're not supposed to be able to do, but I think you're supposed to be illegal now. It should be illegal. Nobody calls that. Yeah, because you're not allowed to hit him. Yeah. Pinnock ran up and just nailed him. And then, oh my gosh, I would have freaking thrown the guy in jail or whatever, because you can't take on a quarterback these days if he's in space trying to gain yards on you. Screw that, man. Football is a violent game. Like I'm all about eliminating head to head, all that kind of stuff. But if you're a runner, you're a runner, dude. You should pay for running. When Jackson Dart ran the football, that mother paid for it, dude. He would take massive hits. I think the Giants, you got to make these guys pay for running, especially someone like Shuck, who's running around with a broken fricking hand, dude. Right. Right. Which is crazy that he's playing like that right now. Yeah. I would say a couple other notes I had. It was another phenomenal game from Isaiah Likely. I mean, it's insane what he does out there, dude. That touchdown catch was sickening. I don't even understand Likely. Like if he had, again, I said this last week and I'll just up it now. If he had five drops already on those like crappy balls that he's caught this year, I'd be like, all right. People will say he has a drop on him and be like, no, they've all been horrible throws. He's caught every single one of those bad balls. And that wasn't a bad one from JJ, by the way. That was high away from coverage with velocity. That was one of the better ones of these super difficult catches he made. But the ones he caught from Jameis were like really bad. There's even the one from Dart that was behind him before Dark got hurt that he like one handed stabbed on. Like he's just been unreal. Likely it's insane how good he's been. It's this is going to be like potentially a defining signing. If this team starts to win football games eventually, maybe not this year, maybe next, he'll be a defining signing and a big reason why. He's one of the best players, one of the best, like just, I don't even want to call him a tight ender or a receiver, Nick, just one of the best mismatches right now in the NFL. I agree, I agree, man. 11 targets, another 11 targets called six from over nine and nine yards in that Tuddy. It's funny, man, I'm looking at the Giants record and I see three, two, one. And I'm just like, oh man, somebody who has- And the Eagles lost today. Yeah, no, but like just three, two, one, like the countdown. I wonder how many teams have actually been three, two, one in the history of the NFL. Not a score, a record, a gomme or whatever. Yeah, yeah. It could be a record. I don't know, somebody figured that out. But yeah, dude, Eagles lost again. We have no idea what's going on with Jalen Hurts. Yeah, well, he's out for at least four games, probably more, depends on how, if he gets to get off the blood thinners or not. And Tanner, you know, had a horrible first half, I guess was a little better in the second half, McKee, for them, but they also signed Milton. I don't know where they're gonna go at quarterback. Their defense is still sweet, but it just like tears out. We liked Tanner McKee, I remember. I liked him sort of, I wasn't a huge. He's like a statue though, from that. Yeah, yeah, I just like those, like six, five guys. Stanford, yeah, yeah, just six, five, sees the feeling, but has a frame, but he is statu-esque. I would love to play him, like just after what I saw is due to toddler shock. Well, probably only two after the bottom. Yeah, I mean, maybe they also signed Milton, but we'll see what happens with the Cowboys and Commanders. The Giants are still in play for this division, which is also probably another reason why it could spark a JJ McCarthy rise, I would say. A couple other notes. The Zavada had a nice bounce back game. Wasn't my favorite stout game, I don't think. Those are probably my two special teams takeaways from an individual standpoint. Don't think I have anything too much yet on the other players. We'll watch the tape and get there. If you have anything else you want to hit supers. No, let's get to some soups right now, man. Yeah, let's see what we got there. All right, Igor, thank you. You said neighbors likely is the best combo we've had since Nicks and Cruz. I don't think I could argue could have who could have been the second for Oby Shepard Beckham. But this is better than that. I think so, because Shepard like I love Shepard, but he was just he was out at the level of these two. Yeah, no, no, I don't think so. Like a good point, Igor. Love it, Igor. And he also says need accountability. Start JJ Giants really accountable with a cam. So we need some some for a Jameis not playing well. Yeah, I guess that's what they what he means by maybe the interceptions, I'm not sure. Sy, thanks bud. To neighbors and likely are unstoppable. JJ coming in and ending up as our leading rusher is absolutely a better cure, right, man? Curious who you guys think there is, if there even is any way to salvage it at this point. Salvage what? The run game, I think he's asking. Oh, the run game? Yeah, and it would be through JJ starting. I think it's the only way. That's the first, like if you had to say, what are your options? The first option is that. Yeah. I don't know what other option you could have. The other option would be to make a change in the offensive line, which I don't think they'd be considering at this point. I don't even know where you would go. You would consider either A, going back to Jameis at center, or B, replacing Runyon at guard, who you just paid. For Aaron Steeney? Just anyone. Yeah, just a replacement type thing. Just to see if anything will spark this team. Or maybe JC. Davis. I don't know if they feel like he can come in and play guard. Probably not. They didn't train him there at all. And even though it was kind of like a projection of his in the draft, like maybe this guy will kick inside the guard. They didn't really train there. So probably not. Or the other option, Nick, is you make a change in the personnel at running back. And you don't give Najee Harris four carries and all these snaps. And you give Tracy or maybe just one week you try something different. You say, you know what, Tracy is our lead back this week. Let's see what happens. What's up, folks? Maybe good things will happen, dude. I don't know. It's just like they've tried now. They gave Naji a real chance today. Started, got a ton of snaps. It didn't work. I think it's time to make a change there as well. So change would be from a personnel standpoint, both on the online and running back from a distribution standpoint, Nick, but also I think mostly it's just JJ being at quarterback. I think you're right, man. Box of Fish. Thank you. Or Box of Josh. Box of Josh. Nice name. I like that name. We've seen him before, Box of Josh. Thank you for again donating to us. Thank you, Box of Josh. It's JJ. We really sure we're we really sure Dart is the quarterback one next year. Can't stay healthy if JJ struggles or isn't great. We of course go JD. What if JJ is great? We have a chance to see. Look, crazy things have happened, right? Yeah, this is Jackson Dart's team, unless the Giants go on some magical run with JJ McCarthy and it's like proving that JJ is the guy and he has full confidence. And I don't necessarily see that. I do think good things can happen with JJ McCarthy, but I'm not under the impression that JJ McCarthy is the future quarterback when Jackson Dart is healthy. But I think it's fair for Box Josh to say, like, if JJ is great again, we're not saying this will be the case. Trade thing. What did you say? I think it's a trade candidate and Giants get some assets back for him. Well, that's the most likely scenario. But if he's really great and they make a run in the playoffs, they're going to consider it like this. Just they shouldn't nature like and they should. If JJ wins two playoff games gets to the conference championship. This is not going to happen. I know this. I'm not saying it will, but I'm saying if you know any like you Nick just said stupid things happened in the NFL. Nick Foles won a Super Bowl and then we watched him be god awful the rest of his career. Like if weird things happen and JJ goes on a magical run, they're going to have to consider it for next year or at least consider it being a competition. But this is all way too early anyway. Right now the focus is on like can JJ McCarthy help the Giants win a football game tomorrow, their next game, whatever it may be, the Texans next week. And like can they can he be the guy to help them win this crappy NFC East? Yeah. Yep. Yes, sir. What's up? I think the loss of Newsome. Yes. And putting in Nick Jones hurt the day. They had to give help to him and hurt the run day. Amazing. Likely grabs two point catch. He also says his field's running bad routes. Those seem better with JJ. I don't know if it's bad routes. I don't know exactly where he's supposed to be. I think there are some options built into the offense. Maybe him and JJ or him and Jameis aren't on the same page. But I haven't looked at fields and said that's a bad route runner. I agree, losing Nusim has been an excellent signing, Dan. Knock out of the park type of signing and putting a slot cornerback who's on your roster for special teams out there to go one-on-one against Chris Alave is a tough assignment for Nick Jones. So yeah, I would say the defense definitely suffered after Nusim left. I think that's a great point. I think the Nusim injury is much bigger than we want to make it out to be. I hope he can get back on the field fast because they're very light at corner from a depth standpoint in the sense of they have other guys they can put in like Nick Jones, but there's such a steep drop off from Banks and Nusim to the next guy. And so they kind of just need both to be healthy all year. Well, they're going to get a Debo back soon. I know. I hope that's less of a drop off. And maybe he was struggling as much as he did because he was dealing with injuries, which we heard about back then too. We were like, oh, yeah, he's got some stuff, but he's fine. And he ended up on IR. So we'll have to see. Isser also says, glad to see Tyrone Tracy Jr. in motor playing bad tackle for a loss for Harris. Pre snap penalties again. Is it the quarterback cadence? I don't know if it's the quarterback cadence, but it's just the overall operation and a lot of false starts and just annoying shit like that where it's just, look, I know Chase Young's a good pass rusher, but wait until the ball is snapped before you react. And he also asks or says, thank you very much. I feel like there were 20 mistackles today. Yeah, there were quite a bit. It was frustrating to say the least, especially on the Camara touchdown, 31 yards. Mistackles, that was bad. The Camara one was really bad. He's not at the point of his career, Camara, where that should be happening to your defense. And that's fair. I think both his points were fair, the mistackles and the penalties. I don't know if JJ coming in is going to help them from a procedural standpoint, as far as taking less penalties. It's just, you know, like now you're going to someone who's had even fewer reps with your ones than Jameis. But that's a, I don't want to say it's minor because it's not, but it may be outweighed and trumped by what he can offer you on the positive side. Kevin, thank you so much that scat will be yet another player we don't use correctly and goes to a different team as big production. Charlie Jones fumbled in this game and continued to play. Harbaugh doesn't like scat. That's why I think it's something, something else. Charlie Jones wasn't benched. That's a good point. Who would they put back there? Just Tracy, right? I guess. I guess just Tracy. I don't even know. And they did at the end, right? Yeah, he did. So they could have benched Charlie Jones. At that point, once Mooney left, Charlie Jones ended up being that receiver who came in the game. He had that like 46 yard catch or whatever the hell it was, which was impressive. But Charlie Jones is a good player, but that was sloppy as hell. Like the way he fumbled, his elbow was just out like this and got hit by the helmet and it just popped out. That was a bad fumble. And he was going into contact. So why was it so like loose to begin with? Every other time, though, he was running like this, you know, right in the con. Yeah, well, after. Yeah, of course. After that. But that's a good point, though, right there. But yeah, interesting. Igor, Naji is a mystery. Thank you, Igor. Harbaugh has demonstrated over and over he doesn't play favorites, but you think Naji is his nephew or something. Yeah, I agree. I feel like we hear this spiel about how, you know, it's merit based, but it doesn't feel merit based with Naji Aris because he has lost the fumble and he looks horrible every time he touches the ball. Yeah, man. AFC, thank you, says, after Dart's injury was always going to be difficult, but can't rush and stop the rush. It's going to be a long season. Hang in the press. Yeah, maybe not. Maybe, maybe JJ James turns it around. Guy, like AFC, I respect it and you're probably right, but you never know, dude, like that's the thing. We didn't expect to be 3-1 and 1 before this week. We didn't expect Jameis to have two crazy fourth quarters in his bag, like he had the last two weeks, one we should have won if we had Scadabood and Fombo last week or plenty of other things. And then maybe JJ is that guy. I don't know for sure. AFC also says, yes, kick it out of bounds. Yeah, that's something I didn't think of, but Doug, shout out to Doug Analytics. He thought of that. I didn't even think of that, Nick, and that was a smart play because it would have gave them another 40 to 50 seconds. Yes. It's, thank you said, Bo and JC Davis were huge today, some offensive line depth. Yeah, Bo struggled on certain things, but we'll confirm all that on the All 22. He also says, such a pleasure to listen to Breeze for Spilmo. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. I think Breeze was good. Yeah, really good. I was, I was definitely on a side note from an announcer standpoint. I think Breeze is good at good at doing this. It's, to be honest, I kind of think all them are the Breeze, Brady, Romo, even Romo. I feel like they're all good. The quarterbacks are the guys you want doing this. They see the field so much better than anybody else. I like announcers much more than I feel like the public does because the public will bitch about an announcer. I'm like, Oh yeah, they love the bitching about, you know, announcers like Joe Buck's the worst, but I'm like, I'm fine with them. I like Joe Buck, too. The only ones I don't like. I shouldn't be saying this just in case I have to work with any of them. I don't then don't tell me I want to because I know it's a listen. This hopefully won't get clipped up or anything. The prime broadcast is brutally bad. They screwed. They need to fail. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And it's not all there for Kirk has college games to prepare for. It's really hard for him to be as well versed. And then how? I mean, yeah, come on. I'll be done for three legends. Legend was one of the best is no longer currently one of the best. The leg is now currently the clear cut worse. So outside of that, I agree with you. Al was checking out and then Amazon was like, we will give you everything. I know. But why Amazon? You know, that's the like that's like any of these quarterbacks or something. Yeah, you're right, dude. That's a good point. Asin Knight, thank you so much. How is it possible? Well, coach team has this many penalties and fumbles. It's infuriating, especially with so many pre-snaps. It's football, man. It's football. Maybe we're not well-cold. We don't know. We're supposed to be well-cold. I think we are from the standpoint of we believe in ourselves. We make these crazy comebacks. We don't just give up on games. That part of it, they're mentally tough and they're physically fit and tough from the training camp. But mental errors that you're talking about and penalties and fumbles and not knowing the end of the game to spike the ball and take the field goal or to kick it out of bounds, those are things that aren't guaranteed. Harbaugh, I think what he offers, in my mind, Nick, is not this brilliant guy who's making these cutting edge decisions. What he offers to me is the first part. The team's ready to play. The team's prepared from a physicality standpoint. It's a physical team. It's a team that plays good in the fourth quarter, like all that stuff. Javier says, Carter, finally getting some calls. It's a promise. Yes, I agree. Yeah. The start of something new, we hope. And then Igor brings up from the 20, and this is the field goal that we were talking about, the should we kick the field goal or touch up? From the 27, it becomes a question of what's going to take less time. Instant kick plus field length touchdown drive or 27 yard touchdown drive and field goal length field goal drive. Not sure the decision is that bad. Yeah, I tend to agree, Igor. I think all of this was weighed in to the equation. Once JJ took it to sack and then they ended up getting 17 on the next play. Let's just kick the field goal at this point. That's why I'm not sitting here killing JohnHarbaugh, but hindsight's 2020 and it's easy to settle for what Breeze was mentioning, which also does make sense at that point. But thank you very much, Igor. That, wait one more. Yes sir. Thanks bud. Said maybe the real issue today was no wind and rain. Yeah, possibly. Hopefully not. That's not the case. But yeah, I mean, it's going to be interesting. Thank you to everybody tuning in. Please hit the like button if you haven't already. Takes mentioned in this episode

  • Najee Harris player · negative
“We don't have great backs. None of these guys are amazing solutions, but I just think you can give yourself a better chance to win by not burning touches on Najee Harris with how he looks right now.”
  • New York Giants team · negative
“The personnel is not there for the Giants. Even the Giants, even the Giants fits, like the personnel that they have on the offensive line that fit what the Giants want to do offensively.”
  • New York Giants team · negative
“It was a terrible spiral, because the Giants, you hold them to a field goal, and it's like, okay, we're going to halftime 10-3, or possibly we could drive down the field, maybe get us about a field goal, maybe score a touchdown.”
  • Jameis Winston player · negative
“That was excellent by JJ McCarthy, like an excellent throw by him and he had several like that. So I think we know what Jameis Winston is.”
  • Jameis Winston player · negative
“I'm not sure they ever really felt good going with Jameis Winston. They never seemed to feel like he was a comfortable fit for their offense and ever really tailored it around him, tried to said they would really didn't.”
  • Darnell Mooney player · negative
“Like he'll throw a beautiful pass to Malik neighbors. But whenever it's Darnell Mooney, those two cannot get on the same page. And he just misses him wide open, forces Darnell Mooney to jump up and fully extend, expose his ribs to Pete Warner and just get fricking cocked.”
  • New York Giants team · negative
“But in part, it's because the Giants can't do anything on offense with Jameis, which leads me to like the point of like, yes, maybe you do not even just consider you probably just go with JJ to give you something kind of spark because right now, here's the reality of the Giants”
